Like the title says, I feel like i cannot do anything right!!
First with my fanfic, I work really hard but yet i have NO READERS!!! Maybe the plot sucks?? Maybe my sentence structure isnt that good??? Maybe the whole STORY SUCKS!!
Next, I suck at BRAWL!! I come on training, but when i fight against others, all my training seems to be a waste of time!!
Third, is my artistic abilities!! I like draw..NO i LOVE to draw, and i keep on practicing been when i see other peoples artwork i get extremely discouraged and just feel like quit draw all together...
So, what should i do??

I Know that I am not the guru for this but I have some advise. You are a Crazy Hand here. A CRAZY HAND!!! Do you remember how happy everyone was was you came back from your hitas!? Everyone was estatic!! That does not equal sucking at everything
Second, try Advertising your Fan Fic More. Ghost sends out PM's to people when he releases a chapter, and It works. Frankly I never knew one was out, I'll go look.
Brawl, don't worry. I get the same feeling a lot. Step back from Brawl for a while. It will clear your head from anger and you'll be refreshed and ready the next time you play it.
Hey as long as you can actually draw, you're better than most of the people on the forms. Don't get discouraged about something you love.

What you should do is simple: Keep trying.
For instance, ur drawing problem I can relate to. I use to draw allllllll the time and I sucked. But I kept on trying and eventually I use to make my own comics for the heck of it.
All you got to do it keep trying and practice. I promise u u'll see results

1. Consider yourself the same as of Fan Fic standpoint. I only have two known readers for the Subspace and Smashbros War, but maybe a few of your readers don't post. I never knew Bert was a reader till he said "Hey LGN when's the next chapter going to be". I know I need to start reading yours and a few others *Smashbro and Ghost glare at LGN* but I'm hopefully going to start up again.
2. Everyone has their short comings in video games, some people can play expert on Guitar Hero while others can barely play easy. It's the same for brawl, it's kind of a nack you pick up from oddles and oddles of time. But to become good - at anything - you must practice a lot, and constantly be thinking like "Hmm, I see Big Boss running at me, he's going to do Sanke's rolling move so I should ever sheild or smash him at the right moment."
3. When I saw your Lucas picture I was like "He was able to draw an outstanding Lucas picture when he wasn't even trying to! Incredible!!!" Your drawing's aren't bad at all and don't be discourged. On my cross country team (that's running in the woods for you non runners) there is this girl who beats me as much as I beat her, but she's been beating me a bit recently. Should I be discouarged and quit all together? NEVER! I must practice harder and train like there's no tomorrow only a today if I want to beat her and fufill my dreams, and YOU should too.
People love you here Twilightlink, when you came back everyone was like "ZOMGITTWILIGHTLINK! AH! *faints* (I mean that positivly)* so trust me when I saw your great at many things even if you don't beleive so.

Twilight, you shouldn't feel discouraged about this stuff.
Your drawing abilities are great, and you did that drawing of Lucas quickly! For me to draw, it takes forever in a day to draw them, and then some I put off and can't seem to finish them.
You are good at Brawl, trust me. There are MANY MANY people who can't Brawl half as good as you, and I've foughten too many of those kinds of people. @_@ You just need to intensly practice your skills to see if you can get even better, try finding your strengths and weaknesses and try to work out a strategy that's good for you.
And I've seen your fanfic, you have a good writing abilities. I keep trying to read everybody's fanfics, but it seems I always forget. Like I wanna read Ghost's, Smashbros's, your's, Bob's, etc. I will try to make time in order to read yours and I will comment as well.
All in all Twilight, you are a good person and are quite talented. You have to keep telling yourself that, or you might fall into depression. And like everybody else has said above, WE MISS YOU WHEN YOU'RE GONE! XD

So, what should i do?? 1) The fanfic thing I can relate to. Nobody reads mine except Bob (You've read a few chapters, I know that). Don't worry about it; it seems Ghost and Bob really like it, and the only thing that matters is whether or not fans like it. 2) Your art problem might be because of a long break. That's all I can think of. 3) This I can't explain... alot of people seem to be sucking at Brawl around here lately. I can't help you with that. |
