so here is my long story that is summed up of this girl i know about...
About 2 months ago, I met this sweedish girl...
We both told each others we like each others more than just friends but like BEST friends, anyways... One of her friends told me that she is engaged, I was SUPER sad...
We exchanged Valentine's gifts...
She said this other guy is coming out on the 23rd and then will leave.
I said I would die if I saw her engaged with someone else. I said I loved her and want to go out with her and I cried, she said she wants me to be happy.
I asked told her okay and asked her if everything is going to work out, she said yeah and after hugging and pulling back my tears, I went back home.
There was alot more talking and stuff, but that pretty much sums it up...
Comes to find out... the ring was just a gift... So I am going to get her a ring when the other guy leaves and I ask her out.
Any Ideas of what I should do? Or what is going to happen?

oh good, well I still think you should tell her that you cant accept that she likes another man....TELL HER ITS 2 TIMING, MAKE HER DECIDE, HIM OR YOU....or ur jus making it look like ur a pushover

*Shoves Sour out of the way* Okay, I'm not good when it comes to relationships but I'm gonna try and help you out anyway.
Now, assuming you don't wanna come off as a giant douchebag, for the love of God, don't make her choose between the two of you. That's just wrong. Even if she doesn't like you the way you like her, you'll at least still be friends.
And that is why I don't help out with relationships much.

So lemme get the story straight....you and the swedish chick like each other right? You found out she got engaged and u were upset and she knew? But later on u found out it was just a gift and she's not engaged after all?

okay..I can honestly say I've never been in this situation you know..engagements and all.. but where's what I'd do. IF YA WANT HER: Continue the persuit for her..but be cautious..u obviously have some sort of competition. but ease up as well..shes obviously in alot of stress picking over two guys. IF YA DONT: Move on. There's plenty of fish in the water..ys might catch urself a swedish one too  |

lol I use to have those feeling for a girl once too..Heck I was in that situation once. I let loose of her leash and pick herself what's good for her.....Sometimes what we want, desire, long for, isn't always a win-win scenario and shouldn't have been to exist. Destiny has already picked out paths.. That doesnt mean it's pain-free..You cant win every battle life has to offer you...no one does...and thats the truth...not everyone wins..and sometimes, it hurts
And sometimes...you just think it's over...But in reality, all you had to do is wait a little longer for the break in enemy lines and invade..(sry for the military metaphors)
Only your heart can truly tell you what to do
