I try and try to be friends with my cat but she tends to be mean alot i brush her and she loves it but She bites back and randomly fights the other cats any tips?

Well I have a dog and he only bites back at random times when hes angry. even if your nice hell try to bit you back... just watch to see the mood the cats in and judge it off that  |

Can you be touching your cat in a way she does not like it? My grandmother's cat does the same to me, so I love to just stay away from the cat as much as possible.

Cats are very particular about where and when they like being petted. Always let your cat approach you first. Most cats don't like being touched on the stomach, so avoid that. Learn where your cat likes being petted.

i'd have to agree with devaux on this one, however, i think that perhaps your cat needs to become more social. i must also ask; has your cat been spayed or neutered? doing so will not only make it less aggressive, but will also make bob barker smile! ^_^

well, i watched the video, and i really don't see anything abnormal for cat behavior. if anything, it almost seems as if she's bored and is just looking for anything that could possibly entertain her. it didn't look like she was being aggressive with the map, but more along the lines of trying to keep herself entertained. it's a very natural thing for a cat, or any pet for that matter, to turn destructive when they are bored. it's not that they are just trying to be nasty and mean, but more that it's something fun to do to pass the time. they don't know that they're destroying the cable on a game controller, for example, but rather see it as something that they have no use for other than it has the possibility to provide a little excitement in the day. perhaps you could get her some toy mice and stuff them full of catnip. not only does it provide your cat something that they can play with, but also provides you with the fun of watching them roll around like idiots because they got high on the stupid stuff. it's weed for cats! XD
