Hey guys, I'm sorry I was gone for so long, and I also apologize for not coming back with good news.
So I went to my first Brawl tournament, right? It was being held by my local Anime club (which conveniently doubled as a Video-Game club as well). I even had to pay money to get in it (well, a friend of mine knew I would come unprepared for that fact, so she covered me).
I was playing ROB, whom I had the most experience with, however, I hadn't played in a while, so I was a bit out-of-practice. On the other hand, though, the first guy I was up against was an Ike (arg, Ike) who hadn't played in a year. I thought the odds were fair enough.
But.
You know those custom stages that come with the game? You know the "Labyrinth" one that has the long, flat area right at the top of the screen? The audiance sighed in disappointment over the fact that the Tourney organizers forgot to turn off the lame custom levels. But it was official now, the tourney had already started, we had to fight there.
I was creamed. That Ike was at 147%, and I still couldn't throw that sucker out of the top of the arena.

Aww.. that sounds horrible. So sorry to hear that.. they really should turn off things like that. Or should have at least stepped in, stopped the match, made sure you picked the same characters and everything. So sorry.

Now that was just wrong. They should have turned off the custom stages. That was bad tournament management on their part. I'm sorry you had to pay the price. That really sucks man.
