Man I rather like Raiden.
But Raiden in MGS 2 < Solid Snake

ill admit there were parts in MGS4 that made me want to play as raiden, he had the coolest line ever when vamp asked, "are you also immortal?" and Raiden says "No, I just dont fear death"
Im glad to be able to play as raiden. But Im ready for peace walker

Playing as Raiden would be fun for a while, but just the thought of him jumping around like he does in a game entitled "Metal Gear" makes me think of something other than Metal Gear. It just won't be the same type of game play and therefore won't register with me as a real Metal Gear game.

i do feel somewhat that mgs 1,2,3,4 were pretty much it and that they are just making stuff now a lil.
i can't wait till peacewalker thats gonna own.

Besides: 1- We don't know how his game will play out. 2- That's why it's a spin off. ;D It still bears the Metal Gear name and I just don't see Raiden doing anything other than jumping around like some ninja in a place with tons of enemies with no brains. The way Raiden is dressed in the trailer confirms my suspicions about the way he will fight (it resembles the outfit he wore in MGS4), and the phrase "Lightning Bolt Action" is a dead giveaway that the game play will NOT be the stealth game that Metal Gear has always been. |
