First off im going to say wow, two new MGS games, Metal gear solid rising and Metal Gear solid Peace walker! All you xbox360 owners can finally experience your first MGS game on the 360, staring the charachter Raiden! It was confermed to be on the PS3 and PC also, so everyone can follow the next step in MGS.

MGS Peace walker

The next chapter of the popular Metal Gear tactical-espionage series will be available for the PlayStation portable in 2010, video game designer Hideo Kojima announced Tuesday.

Called Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the game takes place in 1974, picking up where Metal Gear Solid 3 left off. (This could get a little confusing, because Metal Gear Solid 3 was a prequel to the first Metal Gear Solid.) That means players assume the role of Naked Snake (aka Big Boss).

“I’ll be deeply involved in this title, writing the script and producing it,” Kojima said at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, adding that the team that worked on Metal Gear Solid 4 would be participating as well. Kojima will also be directing the game design, according to a press release.

Wasn't Portable Ops a sequel to MGS 3? So does that mean that Peace Walker is a sequel to Portable Ops??? Also did you notice the 4 snakes in the Peace Walker Trailer? Oh, how I love references!

I think he is saying this is a true sequel.
