Okay, so now that Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is out and Metalica is probably on it's way this brings up a question. Who should have a guitar hero game? That's where this thread comes in. Here discuss bands that could have another game.....just don't say Lidnsey Lohan or Brittney Spears or I'll have to....do..something. Alright, here are the bands that I think could have their own guitar hero game. Rolling Stones KISS Iron Maiden The Who ACDC Ozzy Osburne + Black Sabbath Rush Deep Purple Guns & Rosses and/or Velvet Revolver Southern Rock = Lynyrd Skynyrd/Outlaws/Molly Hachet/Black Foot Van Halen Def Lepperd Queen Motley Crue Scorpions Korn The Police Judas Priest Boston Led Zepplin Open for ideas  |

Hmm... I dunno about anymore bands howsabout KISS? *Looks up and notices LGN already said it* Umm... nothing that you didn't say comes to mind Megadeth I guess, but not until one more album.

RHCP probably not because they're two new adn I really don't see them doing alternative any time soon. Dragonforce is too new and only really got famous from GH. They're great, I have their CD, but to have a game they'll need to have more hits and songs overal. Must of their songs don't differ a whole lot. They'd be great, but they'll need more songs. In ten years from now and they're still on top YEAH! But they're even newer then the Chill Peppers, they're too new. The guitar is there so maybe in years to come maybe. I heard they were thinking about Megadeth, but they aren't anything special to me. They're ok and I'm not sure if they have quite a large enough fanbase (note that other then RHCP and Linkin Park the others don't have big enough fanbases ever). Other ideas? |

they're pretty popular with games, so isn't guitar hero a game?
besides, most of their songs have a guitar solo

Yeah, I'm not that big a Megadeth fan either, I was just trying to think of someone popular, I agree with SLE on Crush 40, but they need to do some stuff on their own, you know, non-game, to get some recognition, because lots of my friends never even heard of them

i say any band thats been pumping out new songs since the 70s or before like acdc The Who The Doors Grateful Dead Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd no new bands i like linkin park in all but the don't deserve it

Let's face it 1 out of 50 people may have heard a note from a Sonic game, let alone the name of the band. These guys have to be really popular and have stain power to be remebered so long. They're new, but they have to do some stuff not involving a game. All those bands probably deserve a game, haven't listened to The Doors, Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd or if I have I don't know it. |

True, Crush 40's probably not gonna be famous any time soon, but maybe they could start making games focused on genres of rock instead of bands, y'know?

They could, I have that Southern Rock idea stated above. If they did metal they'd HAVE to put in Quiet Riot. It's not even a wish it's a command, they'd have to.
