Chapter: 17- Heart Break
Corneria- Cherry Blossom Illusion (Created by Panther)
Panther kept waving his arms back and fourth causing wave after wave of petals to come after Samus and Krystal. Samus and Krystal were able to dodge the attacks at first, but Samus started to lose her agility due to her blood loss.
Samus: Darn it!! I’m getting slower by the second! Krystal, we have to find way to stop or, at least, slow down Panther.
Krystal: Yeah, but your wounds are pretty bad. Are you sure you can keep fighting?
Samus: *nods her head* Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve had worse wounds then this. What!?! Here comes another wave of petals!
Samus and Krystal barely dodged the wave. They can tell that Panther’s attacks were getting more aggressive.
Panther: Now now girls. Do you really think I’m going to let you two formulate a plan? You must I think I’m an idiot. Well, since you girls keep dodging my waves, I guess it’s time to change my attack pattern.
Panther started to wave his arms towards the sky, as he was doing this, all the petals started to circulate in the sky.
Krystal: What’s going on? What is Panther up too?
Before Krystal could ponder on what Panther was going to do next, Panther lowered his arms causing columns of petals to fall down on Samus and Krystal. Samus and Krystal kept dodging this new attack until Samus tripped and fell down.
Samus: Damn, the last column almost got me. I’m losing my balance…
Krystal: Samus watch out!! *thinking to herself*Darn it, she won’t have time to dodge the incoming attack…I must do something fast!
Panther saw the fallen Samus and decided to make his move.
Panther: Hahaha! Now’s my much chance to finish her off! Say good bye Samus.
Panther swung his arms down causing a huge column of petals to fall down on Samus. There was no way she could have survived this attack.
Panther: Now it’s just you and I, Krystal…Wait what’s this???
Mushroom Kingdom- Deflino Plaza
Mario was finally got to the Deflino Plaza. Once there, he noticed Peach causing all kinds of chaos and mayhem. Peach was no longer herself; she had tons of long-ebony hands coming out from her back, her hair was now a deep jet black, her eyes was black, except for her irises.
Mario: Princess Peach, please-a come down!
Peach turned her attention to the whining Mario.
Peach: How dare you tell me what to do you peasant. You shall pay for talking to me in such a tone.
Peach commanded the arms on her back to grab Mario; she began to suffocate him, slowly Mario’s life was slipping away. Mario knew what she was doing, but he didn’t want to fight her because he thought she would revert back to her formal self.
Mario: Peach-a…You are-a…choking...
Peach: Quiet you’ll only make it worst.
Mario’s fate seemed grim; Peach was choking the life out of Mario, and even if Mario wanted to fight, he couldn’t for Peach’s grip on him was to powerful to overcome.
Peach: Now that’s a good boy. Slowly draft to the nether world, a place were un-loyal subjects like you belong.
All of sudden a ray of light flew right passed Peach, nearly hitting her; what ever it was, it clearly was a warning shot for Peach isn’t a hard target to hit.
Peach: What is the meaning of this! I demand the person who sent that ray of light to reveal their self!
And sure enough, the owner of the light revealed himself; it was no other then Pit himself! A young angelic boy who dons a pure, white ivory tunic, a golden leaf crown that sat upon his head and two white wings that sprouted from his back.
]Pit: It is I who shot that arrow! Now Peach – if that is what you call yourself – let go of Mario now!
Peach: Hmmm, he seems feisty, and he might pose a threat.
Peach dropped Mario on the ground and turned her attention towards the newcomer.
Pit: Yes, that’s exactly what I wanted her to do. Now Mario, I just hope you can get up soon.
Mushroom Kingdom- Deflino Island – Sirena Hotel
Midna, Dr. Mario and Prof. E. Gadd were at the Sirena Hotel, sitting and waiting for Link to wake up. Link, just like Peach, is infected with some “mysterious virus” thanks to the red tiger-wolf that attacked him back in Hyrule. Midna wore a concern look on her face; you can tell that she and Link were really “close” friends. She took a quick glance at his heart rate monitor, and then grabbed his hand and gently placed her head on it.
Midna: Link, I hope you’ll wake up soon…we need you…I need…
Before Midna can finish her sentence, Link began to slowly open his eyes. He took his time getting up from the bed; he noticed Midna and two other faces that he hasn’t seen before.
Link: Uhhhh…what’s going on here Midna? Who are those two? Where the hell am I?
The last thing Link could recall was fighting Red XIII (the red tiger-wolf thingy) and Cloud (a powerful blonde-hair warrior) in Hyrule.
Midna: Well Link, you were seriously injured in your fight and some weird mark appeared on your leg, then you passed out. I knew I had to take you away from those goons, so I thought I should take you take you here. At the same time, I can warn others of this new threat that appeared.
Link remembered the bite that he had gotten from Red XIII; the memory caused the pain from his lower right leg to throb. He rubbed it with his hand but he noticed a strange marking where he had gotten bitten.
Link: Huh? What’s this? I don’t truly understand what’s going on!
Midna told him the whole story with Peach and how he and Peach both contain “viruses” that are corrupting them.
Link: So, Peach has gone rampant and Mario went to go save her? And the same might happen to me? Well, now I know what I have to do.
Link got up from the bed, pulled off the electrodes attach to his skin, put on his green tunic, and left the hotel. Midna followed him, while Gadd and Dr. Mario had a puzzled look on their faces because they were trying to comprehend what was going on between the two.
Outside Sirena Hotel
Midna: Link!!! Where do you think you’re going in your current condition?
Link: If what you say is true, then I have to go back to Hyrule to find a way to cleanse myself of this “virus”. Midna, I’m sorry but I have to go alone; I have this uncomfortable feeling that I might turn on you, and if that was to happen to happen I don’t know if I could every forgive myself.
Midna: Oh Link. *her eyes got watery but she doesn’t cry* I understand then let me open up a portal for you.
With a snap of her fingers, she opened up a wide portal created from twilight. Link began to walk towards to portal but turned around to give Midna something.
Link: Here take the Master Sword and my shield.
Midna: What? Why? Won’t you need this on your quest?
Link: *shakes his* No, this sword is evil’s bane, but if I, myself was to become corrupt and evil then I don’t deserve to wield this blade in my current condition. So, I want you take it of it while I’m gone, ok?
Midna nodded her head yes and wished Link a safe journey as he entered to portal. Once the portal closed Midna stood there watching the sun set, trying her best not to cry.

Reminisce- The Viral References
If you don’t remember the early chapters, all you have to know is that Roxas (a blonde hair teen that wields two keyblades) infected Peach and (like mentioned before) Red XIII infected Link. That’s all! (^__^)
