The Shape of Things to Come
Marth stepped out of a portal, followed by Pichu and Toon Link. They were at Port Azulmar, where Toon Link said his ship was docked.
They were fresh from their last adventure, where the heroes had, once again, defeated Tabuu. Most people thought this was the end of it, but Marth was one of the few who knew otherwise. He, along with Lucario and Pit, were informed that a prophecy had predicted that Tabuu would return once, and 7 would evade, and eventually defeat him. But it also predicted that he would return once more. So while Lucario started to train the others, and Pit watched over the worlds, Marth decided to go find Mewtwo.
Mewtwo was the one who told them of the prophecy, and claimed that he would be able to seal away Tabuu for good, alone. But Marth did not believe this for a second, and so decided to look for Mewtwo, and try to see what he could do to help. Marth knew that Mewtwo wasn't saying everything, and he needed to find it out. Marth hated when everyone wasn't being honest, and when there were lies. But he had dealt with that before, and planned on dealing with it now.
"So where is Mewtwo supposed to be?" Pichu asked, following Marth.
"He never said," Marth replied. "But the island was supposed to be uninhabited, and have some powers, so its probably far away."
"What do you mean powers?" Toon Link asked.
"I don't know, i think he meant that it would help his psychic powers. So do you see your ship?"
"Ye...ah. Yeah, follow me," Toon Link said, spotting his ship.
Toon Link started to jogged, and Pichu ran to catch up. Marth continued to walk at a steady pace, and found Toon Link and Pichu on the sip already.
"Isn't this the pirates' ship?" Marth asked.
"Yeah, but they got a new one, so they gave it to me," Toon Link replied. Marth boarded, and ran his hand along the ships edged. He smiled slightly.
"When can we be ready to go?" Marth asked.
"Now," Toon Link replied.

After sailing for some time (15 minutes) Marth had already been over the maps many times, and Pichu had seen nothing from the crow's nest. Toon Link was at the wheel.
"So who knows that he might come back?" Toon Link asked.
"Me," Marth started, "Pit, Lucario, and you two."
"Why didn't Mewtwo tell everyone?" Pichu asked.
"I don't know, he says he can take care of it by himself," replied Marth.
"Then shouldn't we let him try?" Pichu asked.
"I don't know. I just think that he doesn't have to do it alone, and we should help," Marth replied. "I can't stand to the side when something can be done. And I have a good/bad feeling about this. I think something bad is gonna happen, so what we're doing is good."
"What do I say when I see something?" Pichu asked.
"Where?!?" Marth asked, looking over the side of the ship.
"WHERE!!!" Pichu yelled, and pointed toward the bow of the ship, slightly to the port side.
"A ship's burning," Marth commented. "Bring us in, we should help them."

"Contestant #000039, Action!"
"And what is your name?" Simon asked, at the beginning of American Idol auditions for the newest season.
"Jigglypuff!" replied Jigglypuff.
"That's a name?" Simon asked.
"Don't be rude," Paula replied, annoyed.
"What are you?" Simon said, looking at Jigglypuff.
"A Jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff replied.
"A what?" Simon asked.
"She's one of those Pokemon things i think," Paula replied.
"I thought they weren't real," Simon replied.
"Don't be rude!" Paula replied.
"But if she's not real..."
"Yeah, they do this all the time," Randy told Jigglypuff. "So dawg, you ready to sing for us?"
"Yes!" Jigglypuff.
"Have you been singing long?" Paula asked.
"All my life," replied Jigglypuff.
"Well, then, let's hear you sing," Simon replied.
And so Jigglypuff sang. But of course, like every other time, everyone fell asleep. The judges, cameramen, everyone dozed off.
Jigglypuff was slightly surprised at first, but then got angry again. The cross that appears on people's head when they're angry in the cartoons appeared on Jigglypuff's head, but she smiled as she uncapped a marker.
{5 minutes later}
Everyone was waking up, Jigglypuff had returned to where she normally stood.
"So, let's hear you <yawn> sing," Simon said.
"I already did," Jigglypuff replied, with a touch of anger still in her voice. Paula and Randy began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Simon asked. Now everyone else was laughing too.
"Your face..." Paula could barely sputter out betwwen her laughs. Simon called for a mirror, and after a laughing man gave it to him, Simon saw the drawings on his face.
"...You have them too," Simon said showing Paula and Randy too. "Did you do this?"
Jigglypuff shrugged.
"Was that a shrug?" Paula asked.
"Can she?" Simon whispered. "Why don't we look at the tapes?"
They did, and after a few tries, got the volume down low enough so they would only become slightly drowsee. They listened to Jigglypuff sing, and saw themselves falling asleep. Jigglypuff proceeded to draw on all their faces, and then went back to stand where she was before.
"So, am I in?" she asked.
"Oh, you look so cute," Paula replied. "I'll say yes."
"This is not a fashion show, this is a competition," retorted Simon.
"I know, but doesn't wardrobe help with your performance?"
"What wardrobe?!? She's naked! I think..."
"Well, so what, I like her...if she's a her..."
"See, you can't even tell, this is about singing...."
"I told you they do this all the time," Randy told Jigglypuff. "But dude, seriously, if you are putting people to sleep, I gotta say no dawg. No hard feelings, you're cool and all, like the hair, but nah."
"Is it my turn yet?" Simon asked.
"Sure," Randy replied.
"Honestly, it was like you were singing on a cruise ship," Simon replied. "It was a poor performance, and puts people to sleep, litrally. I honestly can't see even putting you on for this audition. I'm going to have to say no."
"Fine!" Jigglypuff yelled, angry. She stormed out the door, headed to where she was more suited.
"Do you think I should keep this look?" Randy asked, loking at his mustache in a mirror.

Game and Watch stood at the wheel of the ship. He had a black captain's hat on, and looked out over his cruise ship, the S.S. Flatship. It was a black and white ship, which was in fact, flat. The S.S. Flatship was the most valuable cruise ship in any Flaz Zone, and, after hearing of Mr. Game and Watch's good deeds in the Emmisary and during Tabuu's Revenge, the crew mates came to him and asked him to be captain, for at least one trip. Obviously Mr. Game and Watch agreed, and so here he was, headed to Angelic Isle, captianing the most prestigous ship of his world.
Everything on board was the same as a normal cruise ship, people on beach chairs relaxing, a pool on the front deck, amoung other things. The people who took this ship were mostly citizens of the Flat Zones, because once you step on the ship, you become 2D. Most people don't get used to it, and ask to leave. So on this voyage, everyone but 1 person was a Flat Zone resident. As for sailing, it was also like any other ship. It worked in the same ways, but due to it being a flat ship, you could only see it if you were at the right angle. Otherwise, it would be nealy invisible, and all you would see would be a straight black line, seeing it head on. Also, walking around the ship was reminicent of Paper Mario, and many of the same principles applied. The realms of Paper Mario were either near a permanent Flat Zone, or during it's events, a Flat Zone passed by it.
Since no one could see the ship, the passengers expected a peaceful trip. But they were forgetting that 2 people on it were very important, and that was why it would be the last voyage of the S.S. Flatship.
Everyone herad a propellor and looked into the sky to see a flying clown face. Actually, it was more of a bowl, and this was obviously sent by Bowser. But only Game and Watch recognized it. Another thing he noticed was that it was headed for them, as if the pilot knew exactly where they were. But that was impossible, coming from that angle. At least, it was before then.

In the dining room, guests were happily eating, and listening to the singer. They had no idea of the tragedy about to strike them. But for now, they were listening to popular, albeit wierd, American music. It was sort of sad that this represented American music, as it wasn't exactly the most...clean, or not the least profane, if you thought about it. Granted, half the music of America was. But it was being song happily, and the guests enjoyed it none the less.
But then the ship lurched. And it suddenly got warmed. There was a commotion on deck, and so the passengers, and singer, went out to see what it was.

Outside, everyone was looking up at the Clown Car, and the person in it. You couldn't call him a person realy, more of a turtle. But he had a really whiney voice, and no one would have listened to him if he had not had an orange laser gun, and odd sunglasses, with one white lens, and one black lens.
"People! My daddy said to attack this ship unless your captain surrendered. So you have...10 seconds to bring him to me!" Bowser Jr. was impatient, and even though he was supposed to give more time, he wanted to attack. "And yeah I can see you guys cause of these glasses they help me see your stupid flat ship."
Mr. Game and Watch ran down towards the deck, to try and stop the attack, yet he knew he would not be there in time. But as he was heading down the stairs, he ran into Jigglypuff.
"He's looking for you," she said.
"I know, we have to stop him," Mr. Game and Watch said.
"But you aren't gonna give yourself in, are you?"
"If it saves, them, yes. Stay hidden and once he takes me captain this ship." Mr. Game and Watch then ran out to the deck.
"10...9...8...7...3.2.1." Jr. said. "Yay, I can attack!" A couple flame throwers came out of the clown ship, and began to light up the ship.
"Stop! Stop! I give in!" Mr. Game and Watch said, running out onto the deck.
"Aww..." Jr. said, dissappointed. "I wanted to sink it..." The clown car flew down to the ship, and Jr. jumped out and went to grab Game and Watch. The other passengers were running in fear, and Game and Watch made no attempt to escape. But out of nowhere, as Jr. was about to tie up Game and Watch, Jigglypuff charged up a rollout and knocked into Game and Watch, keeping him safe from Jr.
"What?!?" Jr. yelled, and took out his paintbrush. "Stupid pink puffball thingy!" He started to paint the deck, making it harder to run on and getting everyone covered in the mud-like paint. Jr. then turned back to Game and Watch, who had been helping people into lifeboats with Jigglypuff.
"Fine! I'll have to take you the hard way!" Jr. spit out flames, and then, having lit the paint on fire, jumped into the clown car and started to rise.
Neither had any means of putting out the fire, and so all they could do was continue to help people get away. Thing is, not anticipating any attack, there were very few lifeboats.
"Follow me!" called a commanding voie, and everyone turned to see Marth, along with Pichu, next to a plank that led from the pirate ship to the S.S. Flatship.
"rats!" yelled Jr., as the people went to Toon Link's ship. "I guess I'll have to attack you too..." Jr. started flying towards Toon Link's ship. Pichu, however, jumped onto the clown car and distracted Jr., as Marth, Jigglypuff, and Game and Watch ushered the others to safety.
"Good to see you two," Marth said.
"I'm gonna go over," Jigglypuff said, and headed to Toon Link's ship.
"Thanks for coming, just in time," Game and Wath replied.
"You sound different," Marth commented.
"Things change," Game and Watch said simply. Everyone was now over, and they turned to see Jr. throw Pichu off onto the pirate ship. He was about to attack again, when a beeping noise alerted him that the car was low on fuel.
"darn it! I guess I have to go now..." Jr. said, dejected. But before he left, he hit a red button, and a claw stretched out and grabbed Game and Watch. marth grabbed his hand, but it was slippery from the paint. The low fuel of the car made it possible for Marth to hold on for some time though.
"Marth," Game and Watch said.
"Hold on, I got you," Marth replied, struggling to keep a hold on him.
"Get the people to safety."
"Don't give up."
"Don't put yourself in danger."
"Come on!" Jr. yelled at the car.
"They were going to..." Game and Watch said.
"No, you're coming too." Marth urged, pulling.
"Angelic Isle." And after saying that, he slipped out of Marth's grip, and Jr. flew, Game and Watch still attached, into the distance.

"Alright, everyone, listen up!" Marth announced to everyone now on Toon Link's ship. "We are very sorry for what just happened, and will bring you to Angelic Isle right now. Your captain has been taken, but rest assured we will do all in our power to get him back! That is all." Marth then went up to the helm, along with Jigglypuff and Pichu to meet Toon Link, still steering.
"So he really got him?" Jigglypuff asked.
"Yeah," Marth replied, sadly.
"I can't believe it," Toon Link replied. "Who was it even?"
"I don't really know, but he looked kinda like Bowser, but just a kid," Marth replied.
"Do you know where he went?" Jigglypuff asked.
"No, but he was low on gas," Marth replied.
"WHERE!" yelled Pichu, and sure enough, there was an island coming up, the flat people's destination, Angelic Isle.
"We're here!" Toon Link called a little while later, and everyone started to embark.

Yoshi was in a race around the town, with two of his friends. He knew they were both pretty fast, but was pretty sure he could win. He ran over in his mind where all the others were, it wasn't like him to shirk off responsibility and just relax, but he figured it would be ok for now. What could go wrong?
Yoshi was 10 seconds from finishing when he saw a flash of yellow jump off the rooftop and land in front of him. He finished right after Pikachu did.
"That's not fair, you were supposed to go around the city," Yoshi complained, smiling though.
"But otherwise you would win, just because I know these streets...," Pikachu replied.
"Wait...where is he, he should have been back by now," Yoshi looked around, his natural instincts kicked in. "He shouldn't have been this late finishing, he's pretty fast too. We should go back and look for him." Pikachu agreed, and they walked back down the path they were supposed to take in the race.
They found him a little while back, just staring at what had landed nearby.
"Wonder how it works," he said with fasination. When Yoshi and Pikachu found him, they turned to look at it too, and it was Yoshi who broke the silence.
"Junior," he said simply.
"What?" Pikachu asked, the other character turned to look at him too.
"Bowser Jr. Basically he's Bowser's son. Bad guy," Yoshi replied.
"Did you see anyone?" Pikachu asked.
"Yeah," replied the other character. "A turtle thing with a spikey shell..."
"That's him," interrupted Yoshi.
"...was dragging a bag inside the boarded up house on Sunview, and when he got to the door, he knocked on it and another turtle with a purple shell let him in. Then Bowser Jr. came out and started filling that thing with gas. Oh yeah and the bag was moving."
"We should see who it is," Yoshi said.
"I know how to get in there," Pikachu announced.
"Good, then let's go," Yoshi said, and the three headed toward the back of the house.

"So how do we get in?" Yoshi asked.
"The grapevine leads up to that ricketly balcony, which leads us to the unfinished attic," Pikachu replied. "All we have to do is climb up there and we're in."
"I'm not good at climbing," Yoshi replied.
"I can get you up there," the other character replied. Pikachu climbed the vine, and heard the wind start to move a bit, and soon Yoshi and the other character were up on the balcony with him.
"Shh," Pikachu whispered, and led them in. There were some boards over the beams that held up the roof, but there were also many holes, large enough to drop down through. The three stayed on solid beams and listened.
"I need to go get more gas, and I'll be back soon so get the army ready," Jr. said, and they head a door open and close. Pikachu peered down through a hole, and told the others,
"5 guards, all dark koopas," Pikachu whispered.
"Alright, Pikachu and I will get the guards, you open up the bag," Yoshi instructed. "3...2...1...go!" All three jumped down, surprising the guards. Pikachu used a quick attack three times, hitting and stunning three guards. Yoshi went over to another, and swallowed him, turning him into and egg. When it popped out it hit the guard who had tried to sneak up behind him. Pikachu then used thunder wave on all the guards, paralyzing them.
"High five!" Pikachu said, and he and Yoshi gave each other a high five. meanwhile, the other character had opened the bag and was confused.
"Who are you?" he asked. But the other two characters already knew.
"Mr. Game and Watch?" Yoshi asked, and the three went up to him. "What happened?"
Mr. Game and Watch told them the story. "So where are we now?"
"Angelic Isle," the newcomer replied.
"Then they will be here soon," Mr. Game and Wath replied.
"Yeah, we should go meet up with them," Pikachu added.
"Let's..." but before the newcomer could finish his statement, the door swung open.
"Hey, who are you?!?" yelled Jr. entering the building. He was followed by some dark koopas. "You guys?" he asked, spotting them. "Let's get out of here!" he yelled, and ran back out towards the clown car.
"He's getting away, after him!" Pikachu yelled.
"no he's not," the other character smiled and took out some metal parts. "I figured out how it works." he added with a smile. The four went outside to see that Jr. couldn't get it to fly. There were lots of koopas behind him, more then had come in the buidling.
"Fix it!" Jr. cried, and some koopas started to work on it. "And get them!" all the other koopas there were dark koopas, aside from one, who looked exactly the same but had a light blue shell. Three koops ran off, assumidly to get more parts, and the others joined Jr., ready to fight.
"let's get'em," Pikachu said, and the 4 rushed off into battle. Pikachu got into the middle quickly, and used Thunder on all around him. Yoshi got into an egg and rolled, hoping to hit the koopas. The newcomer used punches and kicks, and could only take on a couple at a time, but Pikachu would step in to help if needed. Meanwhile some still worked on fixing the machine, and Jr. had started to run.
"No," Mr. Game and Watch said, running after him. He cut off Jr. durning his attepmt to run. "You were going to hurt innocent people." He took out his hammer, and hoped to get lucky. But alas, a 1. Jr. didn't flinch, but instead smiled.
"I AM gonna get you for my daddy," he said, and Game and Watch felt his back being tugged. The fight continued, and the heroes were winning, until Yoshi realized.
"Where's Mr. Game and Watch?"
And they turned and saw a speedboat, manned by dark koopas, including the blue shelled koopa, speeding away with Game and Watch on it.
"I'll get you later!" they heard Jr. yell as he and a couple koopas jumped into the now functional clown car and flew away.
"No," Yoshi whispered. There were no more enemies.
"I guess we should get to the docks?" Pikachu suggested weakly.
"Yeah," Yoshi whispered.

Pichu saw the three walking towards the ship as the 2D passengers were leaving.
"WHERE!" he yelled. Everyone met on the deck, and each side told their story.
"So shouldn't we go get him?" Jigglypuff asked.
"...No," Marth made the hard choice. "Mr. Game and Watch will be fine, he's a stong character. I think this is because of Tabuu's influence, so we need to find Mewtwo and tell him."
"Then let's go," Toon Link said, and started to prepare the ship for departure.
"But who are you?" Marth asked the newcome.
"Miles," he replied. "But most people call me Tails."

The trip after that was fairly boring; after Angelic Isle, there were no islands, just a wide open sea. Well, actucally there was one, but Tails claimed that he knew it was not the island, a friend of his was there.
"So you guys knew Tabuu was coming back?" Tails asked.
"Did you?" Pikachu asked Marth.
"Yes, me, Mewtwo, Pit, and Lucario," Marth replied, looking away. "I didn't tell anyone because Mewtwo asked for us not to. Even by telling us the Prophecy might be wrong. There're funny, they work when no one knows about them, but the more people, the more inaccurate they can be. But now that so many people know it should be fine for everyone to know. It's obvious the prophecy is true, he's come back. Let's just hope we can defeat him this third time for good."

After a few hours back on the sea, the heroes on Toon Link's ship all looked towards the sky to see that the sky flashed red.
"WHERE!" Pichu yelled down to them from the crow's nest. He looked towards the bow.
Toon Link stayed at the wheel, while Marth led the way to the front, followed by the others. Marth sood at the very front, and the others lined up behind him, on either side. Yoshi and Tails were to his left, Pikachu and Jigglypuff to his right. But no one could see much on the island. There was one distinguishing feature though.
A long staircase led to a circular platform, rising high above the palm trees. It looked ancient, but aside from that, it looked like a normal tropical island. There was a sandy beach and palm trees, but no one was there. It was a small island, but Marth couldn't tell exactly how big it was.
"Bring her in," Marth commanded. "I think this is it ."

When the ship hit the sand, Marth jumped down at once, into the water.
"Where are you going?" Yoshi asked, looking over the side of the ship, to see Marth running towards the middle of the island.
"I have a bad feeling this is where we are supposed to be," Marth yelled back.
"You know how to tie up a ship, right?" Toon Link asked the others, after hearing this conversation.
"I think so," Tails replied.
"Help them then," Toon Link ordered, and he went up to Yoshi.
"You wanna catch up with him too?" Yoshi asked.
"Yep," Toon Link replied, and he hopped on.

Jigglypuff was slightly surprised at first, but then got angry again. The cross that appears on people's head when they're angry in the cartoons appeared on Jigglypuff's head, but she smiled as she uncapped a marker.
{5 minutes later}
Everyone was waking up, Jigglypuff had returned to where she normally stood.
"So, let's hear you <yawn> sing," Simon said.
"I already did," Jigglypuff replied, with a touch of anger still in her voice. Paula and Randy began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Simon asked. Now everyone else was laughing too.
"Your face..." Paula could barely sputter out betwwen her laughs. Simon called for a mirror, and after a laughing man gave it to him, Simon saw the drawings on his face.
"...You have them too," Simon said showing Paula and Randy too. "Did you do this?"
Jigglypuff shrugged.
"Was that a shrug?" Paula asked.
"Can she?" Simon whispered. "Why don't we look at the tapes?"
They did, and after a few tries, got the volume down low enough so they would only become slightly drowsee. They listened to Jigglypuff sing, and saw themselves falling asleep. Jigglypuff proceeded to draw on all their faces, and then went back to stand where she was before.
"So, am I in?" she asked.
"Oh, you look so cute," Paula replied. "I'll say yes."
"This is not a fashion show, this is a competition," retorted Simon.
"I know, but doesn't wardrobe help with your performance?"
"What wardrobe?!? She's naked! I think..."
"Well, so what, I like her...if she's a her..."
"See, you can't even tell, this is about singing...."
"I told you they do this all the time," Randy told Jigglypuff. "But dude, seriously, if you are putting people to sleep, I gotta say no dawg. No hard feelings, you're cool and all, like the hair, but nah."
"Is it my turn yet?" Simon asked.
"Sure," Randy replied.
"Honestly, it was like you were singing on a cruise ship," Simon replied. "It was a poor performance, and puts people to sleep, litrally. I honestly can't see even putting you on for this audition. I'm going to have to say no."
"Fine!" Jigglypuff yelled, angry. She stormed out the door, headed to where she was more suited.
"Do you think I should keep this look?" Randy asked, loking at his mustache in a mirror.

Game and Watch stood at the wheel of the ship. He had a black captain's hat on, and looked out over his cruise ship, the S.S. Flatship. It was a black and white ship, which was in fact, flat. The S.S. Flatship was the most valuable cruise ship in any Flaz Zone, and, after hearing of Mr. Game and Watch's good deeds in the Emmisary and during Tabuu's Revenge, the crew mates came to him and asked him to be captain, for at least one trip. Obviously Mr. Game and Watch agreed, and so here he was, headed to Angelic Isle, captianing the most prestigous ship of his world.
Everything on board was the same as a normal cruise ship, people on beach chairs relaxing, a pool on the front deck, amoung other things. The people who took this ship were mostly citizens of the Flat Zones, because once you step on the ship, you become 2D. Most people don't get used to it, and ask to leave. So on this voyage, everyone but 1 person was a Flat Zone resident. As for sailing, it was also like any other ship. It worked in the same ways, but due to it being a flat ship, you could only see it if you were at the right angle. Otherwise, it would be nealy invisible, and all you would see would be a straight black line, seeing it head on. Also, walking around the ship was reminicent of Paper Mario, and many of the same principles applied. The realms of Paper Mario were either near a permanent Flat Zone, or during it's events, a Flat Zone passed by it.
Since no one could see the ship, the passengers expected a peaceful trip. But they were forgetting that 2 people on it were very important, and that was why it would be the last voyage of the S.S. Flatship.
Everyone herad a propellor and looked into the sky to see a flying clown face. Actually, it was more of a bowl, and this was obviously sent by Bowser. But only Game and Watch recognized it. Another thing he noticed was that it was headed for them, as if the pilot knew exactly where they were. But that was impossible, coming from that angle. At least, it was before then.

In the dining room, guests were happily eating, and listening to the singer. They had no idea of the tragedy about to strike them. But for now, they were listening to popular, albeit wierd, American music. It was sort of sad that this represented American music, as it wasn't exactly the most...clean, or not the least profane, if you thought about it. Granted, half the music of America was. But it was being song happily, and the guests enjoyed it none the less.
But then the ship lurched. And it suddenly got warmed. There was a commotion on deck, and so the passengers, and singer, went out to see what it was.

Outside, everyone was looking up at the Clown Car, and the person in it. You couldn't call him a person realy, more of a turtle. But he had a really whiney voice, and no one would have listened to him if he had not had an orange laser gun, and odd sunglasses, with one white lens, and one black lens.
"People! My daddy said to attack this ship unless your captain surrendered. So you have...10 seconds to bring him to me!" Bowser Jr. was impatient, and even though he was supposed to give more time, he wanted to attack. "And yeah I can see you guys cause of these glasses they help me see your stupid flat ship."
Mr. Game and Watch ran down towards the deck, to try and stop the attack, yet he knew he would not be there in time. But as he was heading down the stairs, he ran into Jigglypuff.
"He's looking for you," she said.
"I know, we have to stop him," Mr. Game and Watch said.
"But you aren't gonna give yourself in, are you?"
"If it saves, them, yes. Stay hidden and once he takes me captain this ship." Mr. Game and Watch then ran out to the deck.
"10...9...8...7...3.2.1." Jr. said. "Yay, I can attack!" A couple flame throwers came out of the clown ship, and began to light up the ship.
"Stop! Stop! I give in!" Mr. Game and Watch said, running out onto the deck.
"Aww..." Jr. said, dissappointed. "I wanted to sink it..." The clown car flew down to the ship, and Jr. jumped out and went to grab Game and Watch. The other passengers were running in fear, and Game and Watch made no attempt to escape. But out of nowhere, as Jr. was about to tie up Game and Watch, Jigglypuff charged up a rollout and knocked into Game and Watch, keeping him safe from Jr.
"What?!?" Jr. yelled, and took out his paintbrush. "Stupid pink puffball thingy!" He started to paint the deck, making it harder to run on and getting everyone covered in the mud-like paint. Jr. then turned back to Game and Watch, who had been helping people into lifeboats with Jigglypuff.
"Fine! I'll have to take you the hard way!" Jr. spit out flames, and then, having lit the paint on fire, jumped into the clown car and started to rise.
Neither had any means of putting out the fire, and so all they could do was continue to help people get away. Thing is, not anticipating any attack, there were very few lifeboats.
"Follow me!" called a commanding voie, and everyone turned to see Marth, along with Pichu, next to a plank that led from the pirate ship to the S.S. Flatship.
"rats!" yelled Jr., as the people went to Toon Link's ship. "I guess I'll have to attack you too..." Jr. started flying towards Toon Link's ship. Pichu, however, jumped onto the clown car and distracted Jr., as Marth, Jigglypuff, and Game and Watch ushered the others to safety.
"Good to see you two," Marth said.
"I'm gonna go over," Jigglypuff said, and headed to Toon Link's ship.
"Thanks for coming, just in time," Game and Wath replied.
"You sound different," Marth commented.
"Things change," Game and Watch said simply. Everyone was now over, and they turned to see Jr. throw Pichu off onto the pirate ship. He was about to attack again, when a beeping noise alerted him that the car was low on fuel.
"darn it! I guess I have to go now..." Jr. said, dejected. But before he left, he hit a red button, and a claw stretched out and grabbed Game and Watch. marth grabbed his hand, but it was slippery from the paint. The low fuel of the car made it possible for Marth to hold on for some time though.
"Marth," Game and Watch said.
"Hold on, I got you," Marth replied, struggling to keep a hold on him.
"Get the people to safety."
"Don't give up."
"Don't put yourself in danger."
"Come on!" Jr. yelled at the car.
"They were going to..." Game and Watch said.
"No, you're coming too." Marth urged, pulling.
"Angelic Isle." And after saying that, he slipped out of Marth's grip, and Jr. flew, Game and Watch still attached, into the distance.

"Alright, everyone, listen up!" Marth announced to everyone now on Toon Link's ship. "We are very sorry for what just happened, and will bring you to Angelic Isle right now. Your captain has been taken, but rest assured we will do all in our power to get him back! That is all." Marth then went up to the helm, along with Jigglypuff and Pichu to meet Toon Link, still steering.
"So he really got him?" Jigglypuff asked.
"Yeah," Marth replied, sadly.
"I can't believe it," Toon Link replied. "Who was it even?"
"I don't really know, but he looked kinda like Bowser, but just a kid," Marth replied.
"Do you know where he went?" Jigglypuff asked.
"No, but he was low on gas," Marth replied.
"WHERE!" yelled Pichu, and sure enough, there was an island coming up, the flat people's destination, Angelic Isle.
"We're here!" Toon Link called a little while later, and everyone started to embark.

Yoshi was in a race around the town, with two of his friends. He knew they were both pretty fast, but was pretty sure he could win. He ran over in his mind where all the others were, it wasn't like him to shirk off responsibility and just relax, but he figured it would be ok for now. What could go wrong?
Yoshi was 10 seconds from finishing when he saw a flash of yellow jump off the rooftop and land in front of him. He finished right after Pikachu did.
"That's not fair, you were supposed to go around the city," Yoshi complained, smiling though.
"But otherwise you would win, just because I know these streets...," Pikachu replied.
"Wait...where is he, he should have been back by now," Yoshi looked around, his natural instincts kicked in. "He shouldn't have been this late finishing, he's pretty fast too. We should go back and look for him." Pikachu agreed, and they walked back down the path they were supposed to take in the race.
They found him a little while back, just staring at what had landed nearby.
"Wonder how it works," he said with fasination. When Yoshi and Pikachu found him, they turned to look at it too, and it was Yoshi who broke the silence.
"Junior," he said simply.
"What?" Pikachu asked, the other character turned to look at him too.
"Bowser Jr. Basically he's Bowser's son. Bad guy," Yoshi replied.
"Did you see anyone?" Pikachu asked.
"Yeah," replied the other character. "A turtle thing with a spikey shell..."
"That's him," interrupted Yoshi.
"...was dragging a bag inside the boarded up house on Sunview, and when he got to the door, he knocked on it and another turtle with a purple shell let him in. Then Bowser Jr. came out and started filling that thing with gas. Oh yeah and the bag was moving."
"We should see who it is," Yoshi said.
"I know how to get in there," Pikachu announced.
"Good, then let's go," Yoshi said, and the three headed toward the back of the house.

"So how do we get in?" Yoshi asked.
"The grapevine leads up to that ricketly balcony, which leads us to the unfinished attic," Pikachu replied. "All we have to do is climb up there and we're in."
"I'm not good at climbing," Yoshi replied.
"I can get you up there," the other character replied. Pikachu climbed the vine, and heard the wind start to move a bit, and soon Yoshi and the other character were up on the balcony with him.
"Shh," Pikachu whispered, and led them in. There were some boards over the beams that held up the roof, but there were also many holes, large enough to drop down through. The three stayed on solid beams and listened.
"I need to go get more gas, and I'll be back soon so get the army ready," Jr. said, and they head a door open and close. Pikachu peered down through a hole, and told the others,
"5 guards, all dark koopas," Pikachu whispered.
"Alright, Pikachu and I will get the guards, you open up the bag," Yoshi instructed. "3...2...1...go!" All three jumped down, surprising the guards. Pikachu used a quick attack three times, hitting and stunning three guards. Yoshi went over to another, and swallowed him, turning him into and egg. When it popped out it hit the guard who had tried to sneak up behind him. Pikachu then used thunder wave on all the guards, paralyzing them.
"High five!" Pikachu said, and he and Yoshi gave each other a high five. meanwhile, the other character had opened the bag and was confused.
"Who are you?" he asked. But the other two characters already knew.
"Mr. Game and Watch?" Yoshi asked, and the three went up to him. "What happened?"
Mr. Game and Watch told them the story. "So where are we now?"
"Angelic Isle," the newcomer replied.
"Then they will be here soon," Mr. Game and Wath replied.
"Yeah, we should go meet up with them," Pikachu added.
"Let's..." but before the newcomer could finish his statement, the door swung open.
"Hey, who are you?!?" yelled Jr. entering the building. He was followed by some dark koopas. "You guys?" he asked, spotting them. "Let's get out of here!" he yelled, and ran back out towards the clown car.
"He's getting away, after him!" Pikachu yelled.
"no he's not," the other character smiled and took out some metal parts. "I figured out how it works." he added with a smile. The four went outside to see that Jr. couldn't get it to fly. There were lots of koopas behind him, more then had come in the buidling.
"Fix it!" Jr. cried, and some koopas started to work on it. "And get them!" all the other koopas there were dark koopas, aside from one, who looked exactly the same but had a light blue shell. Three koops ran off, assumidly to get more parts, and the others joined Jr., ready to fight.
"let's get'em," Pikachu said, and the 4 rushed off into battle. Pikachu got into the middle quickly, and used Thunder on all around him. Yoshi got into an egg and rolled, hoping to hit the koopas. The newcomer used punches and kicks, and could only take on a couple at a time, but Pikachu would step in to help if needed. Meanwhile some still worked on fixing the machine, and Jr. had started to run.
"No," Mr. Game and Watch said, running after him. He cut off Jr. durning his attepmt to run. "You were going to hurt innocent people." He took out his hammer, and hoped to get lucky. But alas, a 1. Jr. didn't flinch, but instead smiled.
"I AM gonna get you for my daddy," he said, and Game and Watch felt his back being tugged. The fight continued, and the heroes were winning, until Yoshi realized.
"Where's Mr. Game and Watch?"
And they turned and saw a speedboat, manned by dark koopas, including the blue shelled koopa, speeding away with Game and Watch on it.
"I'll get you later!" they heard Jr. yell as he and a couple koopas jumped into the now functional clown car and flew away.
"No," Yoshi whispered. There were no more enemies.
"I guess we should get to the docks?" Pikachu suggested weakly.
"Yeah," Yoshi whispered.

Pichu saw the three walking towards the ship as the 2D passengers were leaving.
"WHERE!" he yelled. Everyone met on the deck, and each side told their story.
"So shouldn't we go get him?" Jigglypuff asked.
"...No," Marth made the hard choice. "Mr. Game and Watch will be fine, he's a stong character. I think this is because of Tabuu's influence, so we need to find Mewtwo and tell him."
"Then let's go," Toon Link said, and started to prepare the ship for departure.
"But who are you?" Marth asked the newcome.
"Miles," he replied. "But most people call me Tails."

The trip after that was fairly boring; after Angelic Isle, there were no islands, just a wide open sea. Well, actucally there was one, but Tails claimed that he knew it was not the island, a friend of his was there.
"So you guys knew Tabuu was coming back?" Tails asked.
"Did you?" Pikachu asked Marth.
"Yes, me, Mewtwo, Pit, and Lucario," Marth replied, looking away. "I didn't tell anyone because Mewtwo asked for us not to. Even by telling us the Prophecy might be wrong. There're funny, they work when no one knows about them, but the more people, the more inaccurate they can be. But now that so many people know it should be fine for everyone to know. It's obvious the prophecy is true, he's come back. Let's just hope we can defeat him this third time for good."

After a few hours back on the sea, the heroes on Toon Link's ship all looked towards the sky to see that the sky flashed red.
"WHERE!" Pichu yelled down to them from the crow's nest. He looked towards the bow.
Toon Link stayed at the wheel, while Marth led the way to the front, followed by the others. Marth sood at the very front, and the others lined up behind him, on either side. Yoshi and Tails were to his left, Pikachu and Jigglypuff to his right. But no one could see much on the island. There was one distinguishing feature though.
A long staircase led to a circular platform, rising high above the palm trees. It looked ancient, but aside from that, it looked like a normal tropical island. There was a sandy beach and palm trees, but no one was there. It was a small island, but Marth couldn't tell exactly how big it was.
"Bring her in," Marth commanded. "I think this is it ."

When the ship hit the sand, Marth jumped down at once, into the water.
"Where are you going?" Yoshi asked, looking over the side of the ship, to see Marth running towards the middle of the island.
"I have a bad feeling this is where we are supposed to be," Marth yelled back.
"You know how to tie up a ship, right?" Toon Link asked the others, after hearing this conversation.
"I think so," Tails replied.
"Help them then," Toon Link ordered, and he went up to Yoshi.
"You wanna catch up with him too?" Yoshi asked.
"Yep," Toon Link replied, and he hopped on.

Marth reached the top of the platform, barely noticing the intricate design painted carefully on the platform. He did not notice Yoshi and Toon Link appear behind him, with equally concerned, confused, and worried looks on their faces.
All he noticed, was that Mewtwo was lying near the center of the platform, unmoving, and that a portal to subspace was open.
