Chapter 4: The Break In

Mario and Peach ran full speed towards E Gadd’s Lab as Luigi flew at full speed to meet up with Mario. Mario and Peach ran into a field that was filled with Goombas and Koopas. Luckily these enemies had yet to be possessed by the power of the Black Mist. Mario made his way over the field pouncing on top of Goombas and Koopas. Peach took out a frying pan and smacked anyone who got in her way. They continued to harass their enemies until they made it across the field. Peach soon discovered a Goomba biting her arm. Peach shook it off and then crushed it with her frying pan. Peach wasn’t hurt though as Goombas quite literally have more bark then bite. Mario and Peach soon saw Professor E. Gadd’s Lab in the far distance. There quickly ran towards it. Meanwhile Luigi still was searching for his brother. He flew at top speed until finally Luigi saw something on the ground level.
Super Luigi: Is that… IT IS! MMMMMAAAAAARRRRRRIIIIIIIIOOOOOO!!!!!!
Mario and Peach both stop when they heard that familiar voice. They both looked to the sky to see who was calling out for Mario. It was Luigi. Luigi at long last had found his brother.
Peach: It’s Luigi!
Mario: Hey Luigi down here!!!!!
As Luigi was going to land, his super powers all of the sudden diminished. Now with no powers he had no way to maintain flight. He fell, head first to the ground. He hit the ground like a ton of bricks. Luigi’s head got stuck in the ground. Mario and Peach begin to laugh at Luigi. Mario then helps his brother get his head unstuck from the ground.
Luigi: Uhhh ooowwww!!!! That hurt!
Mario: Luigi we’re all in serious danger! Bowser…
Luigi: Yeah I know. I ran into Wario who was up to his old tricks. I happened to see a black like mist come towards Wario’s pathway. He inhaled the mist and turned completely evil! He was strong but I got the better of him. I was pummeling with everything I had, but Wario just wouldn’t stay down!
Peach: We ran into Bowser and he acted the exact same way.
Mario: So then this mist… this mist is turning people completely evil! But who or what could be causing all of this?
Luigi: I don’t know! I just barely manage to get away!
Mario: We’ve got to find E. Gadd! He will be able to help us. Luigi we were just on our way there and…
Peach: Mario, aren’t you forgetting about Yoshi?
Luigi: What about Yoshi?
Mario: Yoshi sent me an email saying there is trouble on his island. He said that the Yoshi’s all of the sudden went crazy except for him. We need to get some sort of transportation to Yoshi’s Island from E. Gadd’s Lab.
Luigi: I’m guessing all the Yoshi’s inhaled the mist too.
Peach: E. Gadd’s Lab is just up ahead. Let’s go guys!!!!
They rushed to Professor E. Gadd’s Lab. At long last they had arrived. They went to the door to ring the doorbell. Mario rang the doorbell. The ring was in the tune of “I’m too sexy”. Mario, Luigi, and Peach were official freaked out.

Mario: Oh GOD!!! You have to be kidding me!!!!! (His eye starts twitching)
Luigi throws up.
Peach: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! AGAIN?! WHY DOES EVERYBODY USE THIS STUPID SONG?!
Mario: Well it is the most downloaded ringtone throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. That is a REALLY scary thought.
As the ringtone concluded, a metallic slot opened. It displayed a screen which then showed a prerecorded message.
E. Gadd Message: Sorry folks! I am not at home right now. I am of exploring the Nintendo Universe to do some research and should be back within a week. Please come back later when I’m at home. Thank You.
Peach: He’s not at home?!
Luigi: A WEEK?! We can’t wait that long!
Mario: You’re right Luigi! The world could be coming to an end! We NEED to get in the Now!
Luigi: So what should we do?
Mario: We’re breaking in! Stand back! I’m doing a B&E!!!!!

Mario stared at the giant door which was locked.
Mario: I don’t know if I can do this….
Peach and Luigi watched Mario.

Mario kicked the door right off the hinges. The door went flipping into the darkness of E. Gadd’s Lab. They stood outside the opened doors for a moment.
Mario: D***!!!! THAT FELT AWESOME!!!!
Luigi: D*** Mario, you’re such a badass!!!
Peach (annoyed): WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!!!!! NOW E. GADD’S SURE TO BE MAD!
Mario: Well do YOU see any other way we were going to get in?
Peach pointed at a slightly opened window.
Mario: Oh darn it!
They walked into the Lab which was completely black. The whole room was dark.
Mario: Hmm… Maybe there’s a light switch around here some where.

They searched the wall to find two buttons. They figured on was on and one was off. Mario pressed the on button. The entire laboratory lit up with thousand of bright lights. Suddenly all of the machines began to work. There were conveyor belts, robots, and tons of other gizmos. All of E. Gadd’s technology looked very complex and complicated.
Peach: Ok guys we need to find something of use to us like a space craft or something. After all, once we save Yoshi we have to find E. Gadd in space! Just don’t touch any thing!!!
They started walking around the lab as the observed all the futuristic technology that surrounded them. Luigi was walking behind the others and soon tripped over an electrical cord. He accidental fell on a big red button on a small control panel. Mario and Peach came running to Luigi’s aid when they heard him fall. Suddenly a small robot came to life thanks to Luigi. The robot began to spin its head about. Mario soon recognized the robot.
Mario: Hey guys! It’s ROB!
Peach: So this is were the ROB’s are created.
ROB: Good evening Professor E. Gadd. How may I be of assistance to you today? Wait… you are not Professor E. Gadd.
Mario: ROB it’s me Mario. Do you remember me?
ROB: Search Database………Mario…………..Data Found! You are Mario the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. And you two are?
Luigi: Luigi!
Peach: Peach!
ROB: Ah yes I remember now. Peach you are the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom Luigi you are Mario’s brother. I remember seeing you at the last Tournament at the Smash Planet.
Mario: You are the original ROB model am I right. I had no clue that E. Gadd was your creator.
ROB: Correct. I am the original model. The Professor after successfully creating me created mass production of other ROB model exactly like me. We help him in any way we can help him. Us ROB are extremely helpful in helping him with his experiment. So Mario why have you come here… and apparently busted down the door.
Mario: I can explain. Our world is in serious danger and could be coming to an end. We came in hopes of finding E. Gadd but apparently he left to go do research. We had to get in somehow to get some sort of ship to go save our friend Yoshi and then find E. Gadd. I didn’t want to have to break in but we had no other choice.
ROB: The world is in trouble you say? I would be of no assistance to you; however I know common knowledge of the technology here and should be able to find a space ship. I also know the location of E. Gadd.
Mario: Really? You know where he is? Where?
ROB: The Professor is somewhere nearby Hyrule. Follow me and I will show you E. Gadd’s Space ship.
Mario, Luigi, and Peach Closely follow ROB. They pass through many rooms filled with gadgets until they come to a securely fastened door. ROB inputs a security code and the door opens. Peach, Mario, and Luigi are all in amazement of the space ship.
ROB: Here we are!
