Chapter 3: The Unbeatable Warrior

Within the Zone of Darkness the ominous new threat watched on through his darkness as his plan was starting to come into order. He watched and began to let out his evil laughter.
?: The pot containing the Black Mist is almost completely drained! HA HA HA!!!! Soon I will rule this entire universe and cover it all in complete darkness!! MHUAH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!
He continued to watch from afar the destruction he has caused as he let out an evil maniacal laugh.

Mario flew into the air and bombarded Giga Bowser like a swarm of exploding Bullet Bills. Every powerful attack was stronger then the last attack. Mario then flew in front of Giga Bowser and unleashed a series of powerful punches and kicks to Giga Bowser’s face. Giga Bowser began to roar in pain. Giga Bowser who till this point had the advantage was now getting smacked around. Giga Bowser tried to protect himself by trying to smack Mario with his claw but Mario quickly dodged. Mario then finished with a huge punch to Giga Bowser’s face, sending flying in the opposite direction. Giga Bowser seemed like he was beat as he finally crashed into the ground but somehow he manage to get up.
Super Mario: Oh, you want some more of this? I’m just getting started!
When Giga Bowser got to his feet he slammed his fist on the ground creating huge shockwaves. As Mario flew in for another attack the shockwaves sent Mario flying back. Giga Bowser then charged up and unleashed a colossal fire ball at Mario. Mario quickly raised his guard as the fireball collided with the ground causing a massive explosion. The entire battlefield was covered in smoke and flames. Mario however remained unharmed by the attack as the smoke cleared. Mario flew in towards Giga Bowser and delivered a huge uppercut which set Giga Bowser flying in the air. Mario moved at speeds so fast, it appeared as if he had disappeared. He then reappeared above Giga Bowser to deliver a huge fist to the face, sending him falling back down to the ground. Mario disappeared again and this time reappeared on the ground. Right before Giga Bowser hit the ground Mario hit him with a powerful spinning attack then hit him with another huge fist. This sent him flying backwards as he scraped right into the ground. Mario was ready to call this fight checkmate as he charged up a huge fireball attack. Mario then fired a huge fireball at Giga Bowser. The explosion caused by this attack was massive. Giga Bowser took this attack head on. Mario was sure there was no possible way Giga Bowser could have survived that attack. The smoke then cleared to show a beaten Giga Bowser lying flat out. But then Mario saw something he had not expected. To his amazement Giga Bowser actually managed to get back up. Mario knew something was not right here. He once again did his fireball attack. As soon as it made contact, Mario quickly rushed over to Peach who was watching the fight from a distance.
Super Mario: Peach, something isn’t right here. He couldn’t have taken that attack head on and survived.
Peach: I agree something is definitely wrong. But what could be causing Bowser to be able to get back up. I know Bowser is strong, but he’s not that strong. Wait a second; remember how we said something had to of possessed Bowser?
Super Mario: Yeah, so?
Peach: Well what if whatever it was that possessed him gave him power that exceed his own and pushes his body further then it is capable of? In other words perhaps the possessed powers he was given is pushing his body to keep fighting no matter how badly it’s damaged. So it might not make any difference how badly you hurt him, he will still get up and fight so long as he’s still breathing.
Super Mario: So what do you think we should do? If I fight any longer, I’ll just be wasting my strength on a fruitless battle. We need a plan!
Peach: Hmm. I got it! Why don’t we just go ask Professor E. Gadd! He should probably have a clue as to what is going on.
Super Mario: That’s a good idea but how are we going to deal with Giga Bowser?
Giga Bowser makes it to his feet and roars.
Peach: Take me to Giga Bowser! The closer the better!
Super Mario: WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! HE’LL KILL YOU!!!!
Peach: Mario, please! I know it sound crazy but you have to trust me! We don’t have time for this right now!
Super Mario: Fine! Take my hand and I’ll fly us over there. Hang on tight!!!
Mario started flying over towards Giga Bowser’s direction. At the same time, Giga Bowser unleashed powerful fire balls toward Mario and Peach. More fireballs came, but Mario and Peach kept dodging them. Finally Mario was in range of Giga Bowser. Peach was terrified of Giga Bowser’s image and of the thought of what she was about to do. Peach let go of Mario’s hand and quickly fell to the ground. Giga Bowser spotted Peach and was about to crush Peach with his foot. The foot came within mere feet of crushing her when Peach retaliated. Peach began to dance as she unleashed her most powerful attack, The Peach Blossom. Peaches now were everywhere and Giga Bowser slowly started to dose off. Finally Giga Bowser fell to the ground with a huge thud. Giga Bowser was now fast asleep.
Peach: Now our chance Mario!!! Grab me and fly us as fast as you can to Professor E. Gadd’s Lab before Bowser wakes up!!!!!
Super Mario: Right!
Mario grabbed Peach and flew at breakneck speed to E. Gadd’s Laboratory. Giga Bowser was sleeping like a baby. Mario and Peach soon had escaped for now. Mario and Peach wondered what was going on.
Peach: What in the world is going on?
Super Mario: I don’t know! Whatever it is, our planet and quite possibly the other planets could be in grave danger.
Peach: We can’t let that happen!!! We must stop this evil before it’s too late.
At that moment Mario heard a ring. It came from Mario’s Mailbox SP which was a little device that handled mail in the shape of a Game Boy Advance SP. Mario landed on the ground and released Peach’s Hand. The ring continued. The ring was playing “I’m Too Sexy”. Peach looked at Mario with a raised eyebrow. Mario looked kind of embarrassed.

Super Mario: What?! Uh.. I didn’t put that on there! I swear! Luigi must have done that!
Peach: Speaking of Luigi… where is he anyways? I hope he isn’t in too much trouble in all this chaos.
Super Mario: Ah he’s fine. Luigi may be some what of a coward, but he’s pretty tough and can protect himself. As much as it would help to go find Luigi, we don’t have that kind of time.
Peach: Well Mario, are to going to check your mail or just let that stupid song of yours keep playing?
Super Mario: (blushes) Hee hee… Ok lets see who mailed me.
Mario read the message.
Super Mario: Oh no! This is really bad!!!
Peach: What is it? Who mailed you?
Super Mario: It’s a distress call from Yoshi. Here just read it…
“Dear Mario,
As much as I would love to use this time to check up on my buddy, now is not the time! We here at Yoshi’s Island are having a huge crisis and we need your help immediately. Everything was fine and peaceful, but today something horrible happened. All of the Yoshi except me have gone crazy. They are now trying to mercilessly kill each other. I have no clue why everyone began behaving like this. I need you to help calm them down. Hurry Mario. I could be next!

Peach: Oh no! The Yoshi’s have gone insane and causing trouble. This might actually be connected to why Bowser turned evil.
Super Mario: I’ll fly us there now and… (Mario loses his super powers and reverts back to his regular self.) Oh shoot!
Peach: I guess we’ll have to just continue on to E. Gadd’s Lab. Maybe he will have something we could use.
Mario: Yeah but we better get moving!
Meanwhile Luigi just like his brother Mario learned how dangerous the possessed were. Luigi threw everything he had at Wario-Man but Wario-Man just wouldn’t stay down. A series of powerful punches and kicks, Wario-Man got up. A super charged Luigi Missal, Wario-Man got up. Even a super powered fireball could not finish of Wario-Man. Luigi was starting to become a little bit fatigue. Luigi knew he had to find Mario so he started to think of another option.
Super Luigi: It’s no good! I keep attacking him but he just keeps coming back for more. It must be because of that mist Wario inhaled. I have to tell Mario. But I’ve got to get away from Wario-Man first. Ok, I’ve got an idea!
Wario-Man comes running at Luigi trying to land a punch when Luigi began to do some weird dance. Luigi was planning to trap Wario-Man within his Negative Zone. When Luigi finished his dance Wario-Man was trapped within the Negative Zone. Luigi then took the opportunity to fly at full speed. As he flew away he thought to himself.

Super Luigi: I have to tell Mario about this but I have no idea where to find him.
Luigi then saw a huge cloud of smoke caused by Giga Bowser’s huge fireball in the far distance. Luigi knew Mario couldn’t be too far from there as he flew in that direction.
