Last time on NITNU Kirby battled fiercely with a handful of his old enemies. Though they did not seem tough as first the battles had become increasingly harder. Despite having the odds stacked against Kirby he was able to prevail and make it to the final battle with Marx. But despite Kirby’s best efforts he was beaten and taken down. With Kirby out of the way the remaining villains rejoiced in preparing for their ultimate revenge. Will this be Kirby’s end? Find out now on NITNU!!!
Chapter 17: Warrior From The Stars
Poppy Bros, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Chef Kawasaki, Bow Boxer, Buggzy, Suplex Judoka charged in as Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, Chameleo Arm, and Marx followed not to far behind. Their intentions were clear; to make Kirby suffer. They came closer but suddenly there was a bright flash of light as a mysterious stranger appeared in front of Kirby. It was none other then Geno.

Geno Drew his energy into a small yellow disk and then threw it at Poppy Bros, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Chef Kawasaki, Bow Boxer, Buggzy, and Suplex Judoka. Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, Chameleo Arm, and Marx quickly jumped aside to dodge this attack. As the disk made contact with the villains the disk made a loud crackling sound and emitted a flash of light. The disk flew past the villains and then exploded. Suddenly after a few moments, Poppy Bros, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Chef Kawasaki, Bow Boxer, Buggzy, and Suplex Judoka had all been sliced directly in half. The seven villains fell to the ground beaten as blood flowed out of each of their bodies. Geno crossed his arms and nodded.
Geno: Heh now you know why I’m so AWESOME!
Geno turned to Kirby who was still knocked out. Geno reached into his cape and pulled out a Pick Me Up. Geno gave the Pick Me Up to Kirby and within seconds Kirby was once again moving. Kirby got up and looked at the new stranger not knowing if he was friend or foe. Kirby spoke.
Kirby: Did you heal me?
Geno: Yes I did.
Kirby: Thanks but who exactly are you anyways.
Geno: I’d tell you but now is sort of a bad time.
Geno pointed to what was left of the villains.
Kirby: Oh yeah that’s right Marx took me down and the other villains of mine joined in.
Kirby looked over at his enemies.
Kirby: Wait…. A few of them are missing.
Geno pointed to the foes he cut in half.
Geno: Of course. I did that to save your neck…er…..puff. Let’s take care of these guys first…THEN we’ll talk.
Kirby nodded. Kirby charged in as Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, Chameleo Arm, and Marx did the same. Geno just stood there as he prepared for an attack. Geno charged his energy up and unleashed several colorful beams on Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, And Chameleo Arm. The three of them were instantly KO’ed as they were hit by the barrage of beams. Now only Marx stood.
Marx: GRRRRRR you may have beat them but you’ll NEVER beat me!!!
Marx charged up and fired a massive beam at Kirby and Geno. It was the same attack that took Kirby down in the first place. Thinking fast Geno turned his hand into a gun and fired a giant Beam at Marx’s Beam. The two were locked in a beam struggle. The two pushed to try and get an advantage when Geno pulled out the stops.
Geno: Sorry But it looks like this is the end for you!!! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Geno exerted his beam forward as he soon overpowered Marx’s Beam. Marx took The Geno Beam Head on and was completely incinerated. All enemies were now defeated. Kirby just stood there in awe. Geno turned to Kirby.
Geno: Sorry that took so long. Now you were asking who I was right. My name is “♪!?” but that is a little hard to pronounce. So you can just call me Geno. Who did you say you were again?
Kirby: My name is Kirby! And this is my home of Popstar! So where exactly did you come from Geno?
Geno: I serve a higher authority. I come from a place high above the Mushroom Kingdom known as the Star Road. The Star Road is watched over by my masters know as the seven Star Spirits. These Star Spirits are in charge of watching over the Mushroom Kingdom from afar. And whenever thing became too messy, they would always summon me to help insure the peace. I am indeed from the heavens above.
Kirby: That’s so Freaking AWESOME!! But why have you come Geno.
Geno: Besides playing the role of a peace keeper of the Mushroom Kingdom, I also on occasions summoned if the Star Spirits detected trouble throughout the Nintendo Universe. With there powers I was given the ability of warping to place to place at light speed. I was summoned because they detected evil spreading through the universe. I was told of an EXTREMELY powerful evil appearing in the Nintendo Universe. This evil has unleashed a certain Dark mist throughout the universe causing all who inhale it to become evil. Those who inhale this mist tend to turn a darker color and flood with a dark aura.
Kirby thought back to getting taken to the stadium in the first place. He remembered seeing King Dedede flooding with the same dark aura around him.
Kirby: If I recall that’s exactly what King Dedede seemed like when he brought me here.
Geno: Who’s King Dedede?
Kirby: Just your everyday evil, overweight, idiotic, power-hungry, penguin trying to kill me and take over Popstar.
Geno: I was actually sent to look into this. I was told I had to find Mario for only he will have the power to stop the evil. I’ve been warping from planet to planet trying to find him. As for this Dedede, considering he is among the possessed he must be up to no good.
Kirby: I say we go find him and stop him!!!
Geno: Agreed. I will join you in search of Mario.
Kirby: Ok sounds good! Anyways hold on…. Ill call my trusty warpstar and we can go search for him on that!
Kirby pulled out a cell phone and called for his warpstar. Within seconds of being called the Warpstar appeared. Kirby got on.
Kirby: Get on and hang on Geno!!! This thing moves pretty fast!
Geno: uhhhhh ok?
Geno boarded the Warpstar and they flew out of the stadium in search for Dedede. Geno tried hard to keep his grip on the warpstar as Kirby navigated it towards the woods.
Looks like Kirby found himself a new ally against the forces of evil. With Kirby now well informed by his ally Geno, they set of in search for King Dedede. But will they stand any chance against Dedede’s new dark powers? Find out Next time on NITNU!!!
