PROLOGUE:A history of Smash
In the beggining,there was darkness.Then,there was the worldcore.
The worldcore was a world so full of energy, that over the years, as new worlds formed,the worldcore trapped them in everlasting orbit around it.This formed the universe as we know it,an infinite
expanse of fantastic worlds,each one unique.
This worldcore's inhabitants were few, but powerful.Each one may seem like a god to the inhabitants of other worlds.These beings,such as the spirit of darkness, Tabuu, and the mighty hands,each serve a purpose that may be hard for most beings to grasp.
But where does the worldcore's power come from?What
colossal force could provide such pure energy?That,my friends
is a mystery to this day.No known force could provide so much energy.Of course, it is likely that we may never know the secret this most mysterious place.
Most creatures never see the worldcore in thier entire lives.
However,some beings are called to the worldcore in times of crisis.These beings are called to arms when the universe is in dire need of warriors to protect it from the powerful creatures on
worldcore.The need for such warriors has been arisen three times in recent years.
On the first occasion,the worldcore had been taken over by a creature called Master Hand.
12 warriors were called upon to defeat the creature,and through many trials, they triumphed.The master Hand was sealed away forever.or so they thought
On the second occasion, The Master Hand's brother, the crazy hand, held a seemingly peaceful tourney.
In reality,he was using the energy from the fighters to power a doomsday device known as the subspace bomb.luckily,a fighter named Mario was able to stop the bomb and
destroy the crazy hand.
On this latest call to arms,Tabuu and an unsealed Master Hand
used miniature versions of Crazy Hand's subspace bomb to wreak havoc on The worldcore.long story short, the warriors were able to destroy Tabuu,reseal the Hand,and replenish the
worldcore.This adventure was chronicled in the book,"The Subspace emmisiary".
Lately,I've been feeling something in my bones,a sort of siren that has alerted me to Worldcore crisis in the past.Only this time......It's worse.In the past it was only a mild tingling, but now it's full on pain.I hope to God that this only signals my old
age,and not a worse disaster to confront.
