Here's chapter two of...
"Super Smash Bros. and the Masters of Darkness"
Here are a couple things to note before you read on. One thing is that my fanfic is written in the form of an adventure mode to play in a future Smash Bros. game, so you'll see gameplay segments between the cutscenes. Another thing is that if you see two lines and a certain character's name in between them, that means that it's the first time the character is introduced (like SSE did). With that said, I hope you enjoy chapter two! ^_^
(Mario and Peach walk alongside the mountain where Bowser's castle lays on top)
Mario: Do you a hear something?
Peach: Mmmm...
(Mario and Peach look up at their left and see a trophy tumbling down the cliffs and eventually landing in front of them)
Mario and Peach (in sudden shock): Oh!
(Mario examines the trophy)
Mario: Junior?
Peach: Oh my!
(Mario touches Bowser Jr.'s trophy stand, reviving him)
Junior: Ow, my head... I need to watch where I jump next ti...
(sees Mario and Peach, gets up)
Junior: Mama? (gentle expression turns evil when he sees Mario) Mario?
Mario: (Grins) That's a actually "Mama-Mia!" if you want to a say that.
(Junior hesitates to think of a way to hide what's really going on and act like he's there to kidnap Peach)
Junior: I've...uh...come to take Mama back! Prepare yourself Mario!
Mario: Whoa! Wait a minute. If that was a true, than why and a how were you a trophy, tumbling down the mountain?
(Mario and Peach look up and realize that they were around Bowser's castle)
(Peach sees Junior, who was about to cry)
Peach: Are you okay, Junior?
Junior: Yeah...(sniff)...Daddy wants...to...see you...
(Junior starts crying, Peach and Mario approach him, Peach hugs Junior)
Peach: Oh, there there. Tell me what's wrong.
Junior: (Sniff)...This mean, ugly man froze Daddy!
Mario: Mean, ugly man, eh?
Junior: (gets up and wipes tears off his face) I got...to be strong. Only I can save him!
(Junior begins to dash off, but Mario stops him by pulling him from the bandana.
Mario: Wait. I'll a go with you.
Peach: Mario...
Junior: I don't need any help! I can do this all on my own! (hides fact that he really does need help)...Besides, why would you help me and my daddy after all those fights with you?
Mario: Because you and your a papa are just as important as a everyone else, both in this a world and ours.
(Junior lets an annoyed sigh out)
Mario: I'm a going with you no a matter what a you say.
Junior: Fine. But you better keep up!
Mario: Wait a moment. (grabs out store phone from Mario Party 3, dials numbers in the rhythm and sound of the Super Mario Bros. theme)
: Hello?
Mario: Hi, Luigi!
Luigi: Hey bro! How's it going?
Mario: I was a wondering if you could take Peach back to a the cottages in the forest. I'm...uh...going to stop Bowser again.
Luigi: Without...me?
Mario: I'll a promise you that we'll a beat Bowser together next a time.
Luigi: Oh, okay. I'll be right there. Bye, bye.
(Mario hangs up)
Mario (in thoughts): I feel a really guilty of promising and accidentally not taking him with a me for adventures...I'll really have him join me next time.
Junior (all the way down the path already): Hey, Mario! A Koopa could run faster than you! Let's go! (refers to Koopa the Quick from Super Mario 64)
Mario: I'll be back Peach!
(Mario and Peach hug, Peach smooches Mario on the nose)
Peach: This is very noble thing of you to do. Be safe.
Mario: Let's a go! (Mario runs down the pathway eventually catching up to Junior)
Peach: (Sigh)
(Warp Pipe appears next to Peach, Luigi pops out of it)
Luigi: Yahoo!

Luigi: Hi, Peach!
(shows Mario and Bowser Junior running and jumping through the forest)
GAMEPLAY: Get to the Castle!
- As Mario or Bowser Jr., scale through the forest and get to the castle.
- Enemies from LoZ Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess will appear, defeat them if they get in your way.
- There'll be puzzles to solve involving both characters' abilities. For example, Mario will use his wall jump to hit switches alongside the walls.
-For those who are new to Smash, Toadsworth will give the player hints and advice via communicator.
-Note: You can switch between Mario and Bowser Jr. by pressing Left Trigger and Start.
(Mario and Bowser Jr. are almost to the castle)
Junior: I know how to get past the guards without noticing me...
(Bowser Jr. puts on his Mario bandana from SMS, and turns into Shadow Mario)
Mario: Wait!
(Stomps are felt and heard, Mario and Junior look at the moving trees)
Junior: Is that...?
(Petey Piranha emerges from the bush and forest)
Junior: Petey! (goes to hug Petey)
(Petey is happy to see Junior, but growls at the sight of Mario)
Junior: It's okay. He's helping me rescue my daddy!
(Camera vears toward the sky and shows a Dark Matter coming from the sky)
Mario: (points to the sky) What's a that a thing?
(Dark Matter goes inside and possesses Petey Piranha, Petey gives Junior an evil look)
Junior: Petey?
Mario: Watch out!
(Mario grabs Bowser Jr.out of the way of Petey's Sludge Canonball (the attack Petey used on Mario at the beginning of SSE))
Junior: Oh, man. What's wrong with him?
(Petey Piranha roars)
GAMEPLAY: BOSS BATTLE! VS. PETEY PIRANHA!
- As Mario or Bowser Jr., defeat Petey Piranha by filling him up with water when his mouth is open. Use Mario's FLUDD attack to do so (or a CPU-controlled Mario). After Petey gets overfilled and falls over, his belly button will pop out. Use a single attack on the belly button to damage him (the amount of damage done will depend on how powerful the attack is). Repeat this until he is defeated (will not explode, but instead turns into sludge like he did in SMS).
(Junior soaks up the sludge with his Magic Brush, Dark Matter appears from sludge and flees)
Mario: Well, we haven't a seen the last of him.
Junior: What was that ugly thing? I guess that's what was wrong with Petey.
Mario: We can't waste any more a time. Let's a go!
Junior: Right!
(Zooms out to where Ganondorf is watching them from a monitor)
Ganondorf: Hmmm...I guess I might have underestimated them. No matter...
(Ganondorf looks at Bowser's trophy)
Ganondorf: There is no one that could really stop me this time...
(Ganondorf orders Shadow Beasts to movethe Bowser trophy to the Dungeon)
