Decision

Just today I was offered a job; to work at the new store. I am stuck for making a decision. If I accept the offer it means I won't be here as much, will have to help my grandmother 8-9 in the evening, and be working on weekends. Then the other side is that my boss is one of my best friends and that I will be getting paid.

I get paid enough without working at the new store to satisfy me, but it would be nice to get a very expensive computer.... My day without a job is wake up, attend school, help my grandmother, and spend the evening on the computer. When I am out of school I spend my day by cleaning my grandmother's house, but if I get the job it would be a challenge to find time to clean her house.

So as of now I am stuck in the middle.

I've always found that some time working is good for a person.

Go for it. As long as you visit here when you can then the bump in pay would be helpful for you

For me, it's hard to find a job. If someone offered me a job.. I would probably take it.

Thanks for the advices everyone. Yes, I did apply yesterday and I am waiting to hear if I am going to get hired. I did hear from the employee that they might not hire me because they are looking for people 19 years or older and that they will be cutting back hours and firing some employees. My theory against that is all of the older adults are already employed and the younger adults; well they are all alcoholics and drugees, so there is a chance I might get hired. (All of the young adults hired at the store 19 and up have stolen from the store and has gotten fired)

I don't think that will happen, but maybe it will happen someday.

I don't think so, it is pretty safe during the day and there has not been any history of someone taking a gun into the store(s) yet.
