"So this is the Forgotten Capital eh..?" A young man spoke to himself as he was walking amidst the devastation within. This was definitely a civilization that has long since finished its course in our time. According to his sources, no one knew exactly why this city had met its demise or even cared to find out. All that could be seen in the distance was that immense barren tree with odd greenery surrounding it.. how ominous but yet, quite interesting. Nouri's interest in this place had led him to it and now, he would see just what kind of treasures these people had left behind and with normal people scared to approach it, it seemed he was in the clear all by himself. However, at the base of his skull, he felt a sudden pulse, strong and direct.. almost to the point of painful intensity. Was their some sort of danger within this area or did someone of ill intent come into the area? No way to know but to advance forward into the ruins and that was just what he did

Deep within the heart of the Forgotten City. Amongst the many barren trees and wasted scenery. There was something within, something growing in power. Building and gathering power from the area around it. Tucked into a ball a man, a rather savage yet cunning man was quickly yet effectively growing off what energy was left within. His eyes opened as he himself was tucked into a ball, a sphere of energy circling around him. Others had arrived in this place. He thought he'd be the only one to find and harvest this energy. They couldn't have, they wouldn't have it.
"No.....Mines...All mines...No one else could have it!!!!!" With that some of his gathered energy worked it's way up the routes of the trees and coated the outer layer with a cyan blue colored energy. The whole city lit up. Combined with the leftover energy from the Forgotten City and his already abundant energy the city sprung to life. Lights lit up and the Trees and pathway that led to the heart of the city was also lit up with the strange cyan blue energy. The man inside steadily growing in power absorbing and channeling. He'd eliminate all obstacles from his path.

Abdol gazed at the tree from a distance and said, "There's something odd about that tree...hmhmhmhmhm." That being said he folded his arms as a dark portal appeared below his feet and he slowly drowned into the portal. He then appeared in the heart of the city.
Abdol was floating as he saw a man draining the energy and he said, "Well, are you having fun there?"

Fretik looked around >.> <,< were is everyone? he then noticed someone draing the energy and someone observing him. ....prey. he ran behind the walls and aproched closer to the enemy. he ran towards a wall and was very close to his enemy. he then jumped out and slashed with scythe DIE DIE DIE DIE! he yelled

The young man advanced forward into the unknown, quietly observing his surroundings as he went along. Nouri could help but notice there was certainly an odd "aura" around this area and with it, the mild pulsing sensation he had felt from before manifested once again and with not just one pulse but several of them. It seemed the potential danger he had sensed from before had started moving as well and now, he was a bit more on edge. But, based on his feelings, he wasn't in danger quite yet. He simply looked about and continued searching. There wasn't a thing around here but buildings that simply collapsed and the objects within them had to be crushed as well.

The closer they got to the heart of the city, the more they would feel their powers fleeting them. This cyan blue energy that graced the city had a Inner Energy disrupting and nulling power to it. All that stepped into the city would feel their Inner Energy lose stability and control. Making it harder to use and the closer you got, control.
The two that mindlessly traveled to the center would find themselves Inner Energy useless. With them at the heart and the mans Energy amplified and running throughout the city. They would be surrounded by this Disrupting Energy. They would have an extremely hard time focusing and controlling their powers, that is if they were strong enough to even use them that is.
The man looked up at one who attacked with the scythe. The Sphere he was in held up quite well against the scythe. Acting a barrier or protection against them. He cracked a coy grin and chuckled. "You honestly dare enter the heart of this city and challenge me. You'll die here and I'll eat your soul!!!" He said to them both.

Hkdmz stood on the outskirts of the city, basking in it's powerful aura. It had been some time since it had felt this much power before, and now hkdmz was ready to roll.
So what are you going to do suu? asked Pelly, its little green companion.
I'm gonna go in and see what's going on. I've become accustomed to meandering places that have been long forgotten; it's quite soothing I should say.
But it seems the place is now awakening suu! We might run into some trouble suu!
Well that's not what I'm worried about my dear Pelly. Just sit back and enjoy.

Abdol wasn't afraid at all and showed nothing but a cold hearted smile. "Touching words", he said as he then looked at the scythe warrior who attacked. "Already attacking when you don't even know what you're up against....simply pathetic." Abdol's hand suddenly started to flow with dark energy as he casted his Dark Hands attack. A dark circle appeared a distance behind the scythe warrior as shadowy hands started popping up ready to grab and swallow him into the darkness.

Strange.. the closer he seemed to be getting to center of this old ruin, the more tired and exhausted Nouri was getting. He was already a bit groggy when he got here to begin with but now, he was five steps away from laying down in the dirt road and calling it a day! This certainly wasn't normal.. well at least for him. His psychic powers always kept his body in tip top condition. He could often keep going for days on end without sleep and the energies within his body sustained him entirely so he never needed to eat or even drink something as basic as water. Just a few more steps and he staggered forward and fell to his knees, barely stopping himself from smashing into the ground by catching himself with his arms and supporting his weight.
When Nouri touched the ground however, he felt an odd presence within it that for some reason, he couldn't even pinpoint himself. Was this some form of energy? An aura, or was it the spirit of the people that had long since shed their mortal coils? His touch couldn't even tell him that much but it did alert him to one thing. This energy was moving forward and resonating and now that he had sometime to look, the ground was giving off a sort a cyan hue to it. Nouri slowly averted his gaze off to his left and right sides respectively only to see the same glow illuminating every aspect of the area. He didn't even notice it when he was shifting around the place to begin with and now, he was really exhausted.
There was one option he had left to take and it was a longshot, even for someone who took as many risks as him. He didn't much strength left so he knew that time wasn't one his side. He reached into his left hand side of his trench coat and sluggishly drew what appeared to be an ordinary revolver and simply dropped it to the ground and with that, he alternated arms and reached to his right to pull out and drop to the ground 5 different bullets with a blue casing. He fell to his side and slowly shifted through the bullets just like he was looking for a specified one and when he finally found it, he pushed his firearms cylinder to the left and loaded it into the top slot and pushed it back into the place.
Then, he directed the barrel right at his chest and did something one wouldn't expect.. he pulled the trigger. Yet.. when he did, no bullet was fired and not even the sound of escaped into the air.. Instead, an aura of violet energy engulfed our young hero and spread out from him in a small dome which.. began to swirl about in a quick and whirlpool like fashion. Immediately after he did so, Nouri felt.. wonderful! He hopped right onto his feet and took a great big look at his savior, The Mighty Cocoon Of Ultimateness and Valor!
"That.. was a close one." He spoke with a sigh of relief. And make no mistake, he wasn't kidding when he said that. Any longer and he would have passed out from exhaustion. That energy out there certainly was quite dangerous as it actually disrupted his own powers and even the ones that upheld his own body. The main problem being his lack of sleep in this recent week. Normally, his stamina held out for quite a few days with his body generating its own nourishment and with him controlling his metabolism itself but with that cyan aura messing with his flow, his body was beginning to suffer the effects of sleep deprivation.. even to the point where he wasn't truly aware of his surroundings, simply moving forward without a second thought... But as long as he stayed in this shield, he was cut off from the outside and from this odd energy although he couldn't move at all. That and this thing wasn't going to last forever mind you!
From here though.. at least he could take a break and plan out his next course of action and what better thing to do then get to the bottom of this. His eyesight couldn't see past all of this energy so that was out of the question. All-Sight would help he wouldn't be able to see past this cocoon without X-Ray Vision and even with that, he wouldn't be able to tell the source of the energy. And his psychometric powers couldn't work to sense it because even the energy from the ground was cut off in this shield. Only thing he could do was devote his senses to the task at hand and project them outside of this aura of influence.
He sat down upon the ground and took a meditative stance, crossing each leg over the other. The aspect of anticipation was still alerting him to the outside world and with his powers restored to their actual levels, the tingling was rather intense. However, he could sense the direction of this threat thanks to it.. and it was just where he had intended to go.. the heart of the city itself. But how would Nouri defend against the disruptive energy beyond this cocoon? And getting closer would no doubt put him at an even greater risk as well. For the moment, he could only plan and see exactly what he could do. No rush for now and he had all the time in the world... or so he thought.

OOC; Since Kirbs is dropping out of this...
The shield became gooey loosing it's hard shell like qualities. When the man struck with his scythe again, he found it getting stuck in the blue shield. He himself falling into it and being face to face with the man inside. "Welcome, names.....Drake." With that the blue energy within the shield consumed the man. Disrupting him completely from the inside out. The Cyan blue energy swirling around him it consumed him. Soon his body was nothing more than floating blue orb. His soul coming into sight.
Drake glanced up at the man who was still hovering in the air. Drake's jaw seemed to unhinge itself. With a foul clamp, the soul was no more. It easily digested into the beings soul. Drake smirked looking up at the only one left. A rush of blue energy flew from the cyan blue sphere that Drake was in. It impacted all over the heart of the city. The blue energy would disrupts the mans inner energy even further. Making his dark hands fickle and weak, also causing his ability to levitate to become a rather difficult and strenuous task.
"I suggest you leave my city, or you will suffer the same fate as your friend." Drake was nearing the last of the city's energy. He had almost fully consumed it and thus making the only Energy coursing through the city his own. In due time he'd exit the heart and rid the city of the rest of the unwelcome guests.

It hopped down from it's perch and walked casually into the city without a real care in the world, gazing around at the structures that had seen the wrong end of time. The moss-covered edifices and crack-riddled streets seemed to put hkdmz at ease as it continued it's journey along what it believed to be the main road leading into the city. Ever aware that others were there as well, its solid eyes crept left and right to try and ascertain where it felt the multiple auras coming from but to no definite avail. Oddly enough it seemed the inner energy of the city was corrupting its senses, rendering it unable to detect anything beyond its normal eyesight.
Hmmm I wonder if that's still possible, thought hkdmz as it stopped briefly to attempt a transformation. A sudden white light formed around hkdmz and morphed its figure into that of a young green-haired woman around 16 years in a little light tan and sky blue dress. Eyes blinking for a few seconds and a couple of light pats, she was now content with her new form. Well hopefully this ability of mine won't dissipate as I walk further on, thought the girl with the vibrating dress.
Oh! Sorry Pelly I forgot I left you in this form! she cried as she dug her little green friend out of her pocket and gave her a good squeeze. I'll try and be more careful next time, you know these things sometimes slip my mind heh heh heh...
Ow suu that hurt, and it was really dark in there! Pelly shouted as loud as her little lungs could.
Shhh! Pelly! hkdmz tried to say before jerking her head up, noticing a figure moving in the distance. Before she knew it, the creature was assaulting another and then proceeded to consume something from within!
Pelly, I need you to be very, very quiet now. We're not dealing with amateurs here...

Abdol saw as his Dark Hands attack faded away and then he looked back at Drake and started to laugh. "Hahahahaha, simply pathetic how that warrior died so quickly...worthless indeed...but you are no joke."
"I suggest you leave my city, or you will suffer the same fate as your friend" said the man as his plan was nearly complete. Abdol started to smirk and answered...."Such words for a power hungry fool."
That being said Abdol spreaded both his arms out and dark energy started to spread from his body like an openned can of soda. Then he moved his hands forward casting his Dark Blast attack aiming for Drake. Then Abdol suddenly faded away with the darkness like a sandstorm. He would then reappear above Drake and do another Dark Blast attack.

Whew, this was quite a pickle he had stumbled into. A malevolent aura of energy that simply clashed and disrupted the inner power of others. He understood it clearly now that he looked back. In fact.. that's all it could be. His powers had dwindled, not just vanished all together based on how he could sense the energy within the ground just before he casted that quick spell upon himself.
If anything, Nouri could thank the higher ups in the heavens he even thought to use a Caster Gun. The shells that made up his ammunition were nothing more then pre-casted spells condensed into a physical form. Since it was an energy form independent from his own, he could use them without fail and so far, it seemed his shell was unaffected by the assault from the outside. Without them, it pretty much would have been game over.
As for how he could counteract it, he had one idea in mind. Perhaps if he expanded his own aura to intercept this energy, he could maybe halt or slow down its effects. And with his bodies natural psychometric powers, he could maybe adapt himself to the flow itself and proceed without a care in the world and there was only one way to find out. He simply closed his eyes and drew upon the psionic energies that sustained him and gave him his abilities. With this energy, he began to amplify and project it outside of his body and into his natural aura.
This inner energy expanded outward and even outside of his cocoon where he felt the disrupting energy all around him. Upon feeling each wave, he committed it to memory and began to manipulate his own energy to an opposing wavelength. If he could do this.. then our young hero wouldn't have much problem progressing forward.
