I wouldnt consider this a suggestion but I remember MM saying something that made me think:
mariomasher: This is getting to the point where we need to do something else to get more people to join so we don't have to amuse ourselves by making everyone a censor.
This IS summertime so I understand that a lot of people arent coming around that much but are we really using new members as a way to hide the fact that we are really bored on the site?
rp: Im making a brief assumption but I know like 8 members came over just for our rp....probably 1 or 2 were actually the ones who got their characters accepted. The rp used to be so casual but due to the standards being so increased, its hard for people to join or get their characters accepted and they cant magically improve their rping overnight. For rp5 I think we should:
-make things more casual(which I think the factions will do a lot of good for, cuz you dont have to stick to one story)
-lower the standards of rping...this doesnt mean EVERYBODY has to cut down on their rping expertise but I think a casual rper should be able to post without forcing people like Angel, Cell, snicket, lelouch, etc to lower their rping talent.
spam: spam is spam
brawl discussion: brawl is like a trend on this site. When nobody wants to brawl, its dead but when two people are brawling, everybody else wants to brawl. with brawl discussion though, theres only so much you can post in my opinion so I'd understand if its hard not to post the same thing youve seen posted before.
tournaments: since last year, tourneys have failed...some may have tried to create new ones but most end up in the archives unfinished. hopefully I can get some tourneys up or at least ONE tourney successfully finished this summer.
SSB4 speculation: I dont really know much about this board so if someone else can give their opinion of it, I would respect and listen to it!
general: this board seems fine in my opinion
angry rants: when you post an angry rant directed to someone, you probably WONT think of the line between a rant and flaming. maybe someone should make a thread explaining a general synopsis of what the difference between RANTING and FLAMING is so that people could at least be able to direct a rant to someone without it being deleted the next day.
most other threads I dont know much about except gurus which seems dead. Maybe this should be more considered a blessing that nobody has problems that need to be posted.
please help brainstorm more ways to make the site not more fun.
