I had a neat idea how to make the forum a better more fun place. What if every so often we had like a special event that happened on the forum to increase the activity? Like lets say we could turn saturdays into something like Brawlers Saturday where everyone brawls on that day more then any time the whole week. Or maybe something like once a month or so we have something like a "Be Someone else day" Where for 24 hours you get to be someone else on the forum. Or here's a fun one. Something like "Opposite day" Where you do the opposite of everything all day.. Or how bout "Talk like a pirate day" Where everyone talks like a pirate all day? Im sure staff has a lot of good ideas to contribute to this manner but for now these are only a few ideas i've come up with (meaning ill have more later. All the events can be made official dates on the forums calendar by one of our mods so that way everyone knows. If you decide to go along with this idea im more then happy to help you think of a few fun ideas. By doing this it will help make logging in a lot more interesting especially when you dont know what your gonna walk into. I hope this idea helps in our goal to make this site a fun more enjoyable place!  |

The only reason I like the idea is because the forum is dying and has been completley inactive for a while. we need something to get the place bumpin again

Sure I'd love to see these implemented. I'm really liking the 24 hours of being someone else and the Opposite Day ideas.

We have April fools day for being someone else  The other ideas sound awesome though. I'd like a Brawlers Saturday every month or every 2 weeks. Then I can brawlzorz moar often. This is a good idea. Good job KoD you get your first A+ |

As the unofficial calendar mod (I take the random jobs I'll have you know) I like and dislike this idea at the same time. Don't get me started on the oddles of fun it was on April Fool's Day when we "switched places" and Opposite Day could get very confusing, but they are good ideas and we need more activities around here.

Oh I was actually saying "No" to South Park day, I don't like South Park.
And I haven't been talking like a pirate for the last two years, just this year for some reason, argh.
EDIT: I like this idea so we'll see how it goes, argh, I'll start'er up this month.

I slightly feel like it'd be less fun if we actually DECIDED to do this. I mean, before most of those ideas were just fun little random things we did. If you do something funny twice, it's not as funny the second time. And most of the random things we've done turned into scheduled events and were eventually forgotten about by the third time something happened.
I vote No and we continue doing the things at random, making it more fun and less like our forum work. However, everyone else seems to agree, so I was just posting to list my reasons.
