Behold! Pros and Cons (that tittle is not owned or registered by me, but rather Ghost who started up the idea, but with SSBB) in rock form. Here you discuss who is the greater legend between two or so bands. Request bands you want to matched up too.
First Match Up, Grunge: Nirvana VS Alice in Chains VS Sound Garden
Nirvana
Pros:
1. "Started" *mumbles* Grunge
2. Very big for only being around for 7 years
3. Came out with "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
4. First band to ever have a naked baby in a swinging pool on a CD cover
5. Married the singer of the band Hole
Cons:
1. Kurt Cobain (singer) comitted suicide
2. Only lasted seven years
3. Married the singer of the band Hole.....
4. Does starting Grunge really mean that much?
5. Ended up on "Top 50 Dumbest things ever done at a rock concert" when their bassist (drunk) threw his guitar into the air and then it whacked him in the head and knocked him out; best part, Kurk Cobain and David Grohl (drummer) were to drunk to even notice and kept playing.
Bonus Pro: David Grohl is now the drummer for the Foo Fighters
Bonus Con: Their bassist left the face of the earth (note how I don't know his name)
Alice in Chains
Pros:
1. Music has variety
2. Pretty big for a grunge band in this day of music
3. Didn't end up the "Top 50 Dumbest things ever done at a rock concert" list.
4. Prodcued the killer song "Would?"
Cons:
1. Overshadowed by Nirvana
2. Don't have a gazillion hits like some bands
Soundgarden
Pros:
1. Came out with "Black Hole Sun"
2. Came out with "Spoonman"
3. Great variety
Cons:
1. Broke up
2. Came out with "Spoonman"......
