All right, today, we're going to have some fun. I'm going to tell you what movies to watch and you're going to shut up and take it like a b!tch.
I've got at least one movie from each genre I can think of off the top of my head. So, here goes:
COMEDY
Airplane!
PG-13... I think.
This is my favorite movie of all time, and it's a effing shame that no one I know has watched it. Holy crap, where do I begin with Airplane!? First off, you have Leslie Nielsen, who is a pro at this type of parody comedy, as the good doctor who doesn't know sh!t. Then, you have the pilots. Get this: Peter Graves and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Peter Graves has easily the FUNNIEST lines known to mankind ever. And Kareem Abdul-Jabbar nearly beats up a small boy. This is the greatest disaster spoof ever. Just watch the trailer.

Hot Fuzz

I'm sure everyone's heard of Shaun of the Dead, right? Even if you haven't, stay put. Hot Fuzz is brought by the same people who starred in, wrote, etc. Shaun of the Dead, and in my opinion, is even better. People know Shaun of the Dead, but not Hot Fuzz. Why the heck is that? Moving on, Hot Fuzz is a parody of every cop film ever. You've got your London (yes, it's British, get over it) cop moving to a small town with many problems. And that's all I want to say about the plot because it'll spoil it for you. The level of detail put into the script is incredible. Every time I watch this movie, I catch something new. I suggest, when watching this, you buy it on DVD and turn on the Fuzz-O-Vision. It provides more insight into how truly remarkable this movie is. It's freaking awesome. Notably, it's rated R. Deal with it.

This is a classic. By classic, I mean old. I've already said that Airplane! is my favorite movie of all time, but this is the greatest movie of all time. By God, it has everything. Drama, romance, action, everything. Heck, it's even historical. If you've seen my posts in our little debate about the greatest hero of all time, you know the plot, and unfortunately, maybe the ending. But, it's a classic. The trailer says it all. It's slightly corny, but it gets the job done. This is a movie to watch with your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner to please everyone.
