We did try, but we came up with a blank. We don't know what you want really anyway.

This is just an idea to promote some silliness on the forums and you are all majorly ruining it by nitpicking every detail..

I have no problems with the idea anymore. I did at first about the profile, but it makes sense to me now. I just think this would have to be all equal.

Ok this is getting out of hand already. Guys we are just asking members for their advice on how to make this day more fun. We are just throwing ideas out their and we want your opinions and input. SLE stop asking us for more member benifits!! That's what we are asking you. We want you guys to think of ways to make it more fun for the members. We tried to think of some stuff but we came up with a blank, help us out.

Solid I understand what you are saying and I respect it but don't you think you're taking this too seriously? I mean they said that they were going to put your stuff back the way it was after the day is done so what is the big deal with having a crazy profile for a day? I feel that those who don't wish to participate should just stay out of it. To the mods I know this is a way to bring excitement and fun but some people here don't want to be a part of this. We can't force this on them. Those that wish to keep their profile the way it is should have the option to.

IMO it's all or nothing... again just spewing ideas here but i don't think they should be able to opt out of one portion of the day and follow another. so if you don't want your profile modified at all and want to avoid that then you can't do the spamming or anything else that the day offers.

Ok that's fair. Those that don't wish to have their profile changed can't have any other member benefits on that day. SO basically you get the package deal. All of nothing. Those that don't wish to participate may do so but you will be treated as you would any other day.

I suppose there will be a topic to "sign up" for no participation... but if they are seen spamming etc.. normal rules of a normal day will apply to them unfortunately. Party Poopers get no high regard from me XD

I don't think it can happen without every member being promoted, and someone could abuse this and make an account here just for that purpose. None of the admins can edit what ranks can do except brian, And I'm not suggesting anything for a good reason, there isn't anything TO suggest, all members can do is post, there's nothing else they CAN do to be able to do it.

And as to the "not wanting to be affected" thing, I say, any member who's profile is hidden and doesn't log in for that day, they're safe, but you must keep it hidden for the entire day, not just hidden and then not hidden to protect yourself. Since CHs can see hidden users, they could edit their profiles if they're caught logged in as a hidden user.

How about for that day give us modify profile powers and such. And den only for that day it'll be a war. Then you can take them back the next day. So it'd be like:

Give members modify profile powers for that day.
Chaos
Chaos
Chaos
End of day take the powers away.
So then we could be more equal to mods somewhat.

Norm. Members are Gifted with Modification Powers for the day
-Give those who are trustworthy this power. Maybe you can make certain guideline/criteria that a member has to meet in order for them to gain the said power.

Keep the no cursing/flaming
- Some people may take advantage of the whole "i can do anything idea" to the extreme. meaning that some members may be slick and start dissing/cursing/bashing/etc. other members.


Other wise I have nothing else to add
